Hito Hito no Mi: Model – Nika (Human-Human Fruit)

For so long, Luffy’s true Devil Fruit nature was hidden from us, and we all thought that Luffy’s devil fruit was Gomu Gomu no Mi (Gum-Gum Fruit). But during the Wano arc, it was revealed that the true name of Luffy’s Devil Fruit is Hito Hito no Mi: Model – Nika (Human-Human Fruit), which is a Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit. This grants him the unique ability to transform his body into rubber, endowing him with several remarkable capabilities:

  • Stretching: Luffy can stretch his limbs and body to incredible lengths, giving him a wide range of attack options and the ability to reach distant opponents.
  • Rubberization: His rubbery body makes him virtually immune to blunt force attacks, as he can absorb and disperse the impact, rendering most physical blows ineffective.
  • Awakening: Luffy has awakened his Devil Fruit powers, allowing him to stretch his own body and manipulate the environment around him.
