Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5 Episode 11 Recap: How is Dazai alive?

The episode starts with Aya Kōda and Bram Stoker on the rooftop. Aya failed to remove the Holy Sword from Bram’s body. Bram then tells Aya not to blame herself.
We see that due to Fukuchi’s orders through the One Order, the missiles are targeting 30 million cities, all at once. Atsushi Nakajima got bitten by Ryūnosuke Akutagawa and is about to turn into a zombie too.
On the rooftop, Bram tells Aya that this failure was neither a lack of courage nor a lack of ability. It was just a lack of weight. Aya shows absolute determination and states that there is something heavier than the desk here. She then jumps off the rooftop and lands on the table that was attached to Bram’s Holy Sword. This causes the Holy Sword to come out of Bram’s body and Aya starts to fall towards the ground.
On the other side of the Airport, the moment Fukuchi activates One Order and tells all units to attack, the President of the Armed Detective Agency, Yukichi Fukuzawa who was lying there wakes up as he was waiting for this moment only because there is a slight opening in Fukuchi’s sword at this moment, a weakness that only Yukichi knows.
Yukichi then gets up and launches towards Fukuchi with a small blade in his hand. He uses his attack “Tatsumi-ryu Style Kata: Ichinotachi” and slashes Fukuchi. Fukuchi then grabs Yukichi and stabs Yukichi with his sword, Shintō Amenogozen. Yukichi drops his blade and makes Fukuchi lose how own sword.
Yukichi thinks that the only way Fukuchi will cease to be invincible is if he lets go of his sword. Fukuchi thinks that Yukichi will go for his blade that was on the ground and break it with his feet, but he was wrong. Yukichi attacks Fukuchi with Shintō Amenogozen which was stuck in him and slashes Fukuchi again. This made the One Order fall from Fukuchi’s hands which was grabbed by Yukichi. Yukichi then instantly gives the order to all the units to cease their attack.
Outside the European facility, Meursault we Fyodor is coming out victorious. Nikolai Gogol, one of the members of Decay of the Angle is waiting there for Fyodor who appreciates Fyodor for winning against Dazai. Nikolai asks Fyodor how he was able to communicate with everyone from inside the prison, to which Fyodor replies that he was using the zombies that were inside the European facility, Meursault.
Nikolai then gives Fyodor the antidote. Fyodor said he would take the antidote in the helicopter. We see that Fyodor’s hand is injured. Fyodor thinks that Dazai was able to cause him harm and that Dazai was most definitely his greatest foe since “that man”. Although, that slight injury cost Dazai his life. Fyodor then tells one of his zombie puppets to pilot the helicopter for him as his hand is injured.
Nikolai asks Fyodor what he will do next, to which Fyodor replies that Nikolai tried to kill him, so he would erase Nikolai. Nikolai declares this as the beginning of a new game. But suddenly, Fyodor drops the case in which the antidote was and we see that one of the zombies that were Fyodor’s allies stabs him with a rod. We then see Dazai coming out of the European facility, Meursault stating that he was so close to dying but Fyodor cannot kill him.

At the airport, we see Aya being saved by Zombie Akutagawa and Bram Stoker has regained his full body. All the missiles were dismantled and the attack was called off due to Yukichi using the One Order.
At the European facility, Meursault Fyodor is shocked to see Dazai alive and asks how this is possible. Dazai tells Fyodor that unlike him, Dazai didn’t have control over all things. Dazai’s hand was full of uncertain cards. But Fyodor had one weakness: Fyodor don’t trust anything he can’t manipulate.
Dazai then tells Fyodor that Bram took his special ability back to the airport and Edogawa Ranpo negotiated with him and had him take over the vampire piloting the helicopter. It wasn’t anything Dazai could have planned ahead of time, but Dazai trusted that Ranpo would do this.
Fyodor asks Dazai if he was shot in the head. Dazai then reveals that Nakahara Chuuya was never under the influence of Bram’s powers. He was just pretending to be affected with the help of some contact lenses and fake teeth.
At the airport, Fukuchi gets up and tries to take back Shintō Amenogozen to change the past, but Yukichi takes the sword out of his body and uses the attack “Tatsumi-ryu Style Kata: Ninotachi” against Fukuchi. Yukichi claims that this was the most flawless strike of his life, thus there was no stopping midway. The moment Yukichi saw the look on his friend’s face. he understood the truth and his own error. Yukichi then slashes Fukuchi, but Fukuchi traps both him and Yukichi inside Poe’s notebook.
At the European facility, Meursault Dazai explains to Fyodor that he was only able to get out of the elevator because Chuuya manipulated gravity and then Chuuya shoots Dazai in the head but the bullet stops at his skull. Fyodor couldn’t see how fast the bullet was travelling through the security camera.
Also, the water attack was only to distract Fyodor from Dazai’s actual goal which was to injure Fyodor’s hand so that Fyodor would have no choice but to let the zombie take the cockpit. With that, the zombie inside the cockpit flies the helicopter and crashes it into the European facility, Meursault. Fyodor’s last words were “Eli, Eli, lama sabachtani?” which is an Aramaic term translating to “My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?” With that, the Demon Fyodor dies. Dazai also confirms that Fyodor is dead.
Bungo Stray Dogs Season 5 Episode 11 Ending Explained: What was Fukuchi’s plan?

Inside Poe’s Book, both Fukuchi and Yukichi are witnessing their past. Fukuchi tells Yukichi that today is the day UN Security Council Resolution 2415 will be voted on. It will have a special amendment such that a command structure is formed overriding the command of each nation’s militaries, to prevent incidents like today’s.
Yukichi responds that the Commander in Chief will hold the One Order and a single individual will take command over all the world’s forces. But it won’t be to dominate the world. Yukichi then understands that Fukuchi’s goal was to rid the world of war. Fukuchi then tells Yukichi that one day he received a message through the Shintō Amenogozen.
It was a prophecy of a world war that would happen in 36 years. It said it would be sparked by a multinational conflict and advanced autonomous weapons and bioweapons would take 210 million lives. Fukuchi asks Yukichi why war happens and Fukuchi further explains that long ago, in the warring states period, domains warred with each other and people killed one another. But is there any chance that one prefecture would go to war with another in modern times?
Yukichi replies that it is not possible. Fukuchi further explains that long ago, each domain was sovereign, with separate powers from the rest. However adjacent prefectures can intermingle and are peer organizations. Thus, in the future, with the development of communication and transportation, all people will become a we and war will fade away on its own. But Fukuchi claims that he cannot wait for that long.
Even if only by a year sooner, he wants to cleanse this world of war. thus, he chose to make all of humanity a we. Yukichi now understands what Fukuchi meant by “Destruction of state”. Yukichi then says that uniting humanity is impossible and that Fukuchi cannot turn hundreds of nations into one overnight because the need for integrity is a limiting factor.
Fukuchi then explains to Yukichi what a state is. In crude terms, a state is an entity that has a right to violence. Invariable, the state authorizes any necessary violence. If the leader of the Army of Mankind uses the One Order, every nation in the world loses its foundation of sovereignty. With every army under the umbrella of the Army of Mankind, there will be no war.
Yukichi claims that Fukuchi did all that to make the Army of Mankind and the One Order his own. Fukuchi states that the world will soon form a supernation, a federation of humanity, headed by the Chief Commander of the Army of Mankind. With those preparations complete, the page will take effect. Reality will be amended and none will question the need to unify humanity.
War itself will cease to exist forever. Yukichi claims that it is never going to happen. Even with war gone, all that remains is the dictatorship of one and as history has demonstrated, absolute power corrupts absolutely. Fukuchi claims that Yukichi is right, that’s why he had to make Yukichi use the One Order. Fukuchi then reveals that the One Order obeyed Yukichi’s orders because it was always configured to respond to Yukichi’s voice.
Fukuchi then takes out his Shintō Amenogozen and tells Yukichi to cut his head with it and become the Chief Commander of the Army of Mankind. Fukuchi also reveals that he placed a certain condition on the terror plot that he would sacrifice no more than 500 lives. Fukuchi claims that it is the price to pay to save the 210 million lives that would be lost in the coming war.
Fukuchi tells Yukuchi to kill him and become the Chief Commander of the Army of Mankind. There is no other way to save the Detective Agency. Yukichi takes the Shintō Amenogozen and they both come out of Poe’s Book. Yukichi draws his blade to cut Fukuchi’s head but he cannot muster the strength to kill his dearest friend.
Fukuchi claims that he suspected this might happen. We then see Teruko Ōkura, one of the members of the Hunting Dogs stab Fukuchi in the heart from the back. Teruko then hands the blade to Yukichi telling him that it was Yukichi who killed Fukuchi. Atsushi comes to check up on Yukichi, but Teruko stops
him and tells him not to interrupt them. Yukichi cries in pain over the death of his dearest friend. Ranpo asks Fukichi what to do with the One Order. Yukichi thinks of destroying it but he cannot do it as it would make his friend’s sacrifice useless and that is the curse Fukuchi Ōchi placed on his friend Yukichi Fukuzawa.
Two hours later, we see Atsushi fighting with someone at the airport and is about to be killed, but Akutagawa saves him. The guy attacking Atsushi is using Shintō Amenogozen. Akutagawa claims that he and Atsushi are concluding the story started by Fukuchi Ōchi as they both march towards the unknown enemy in front of them together.
