The episode starts with Yamato telling Momonouske to create Flame Clouds in order to move Onigashima away from the Flower Capital. Momonouske tries his best but he is not able to create enough Flame Clouds that could sustain Onigashima.

Momonouske then remembers his past when his mother Kozuki Toki sent him and Akazaya Nine 20 years into the future in order to retake Onigashima from Orochi and Kaido. He remembers how he had to leave his mother and sister behind because he was just a child and was not able to do anything.

Back in the present, Momonouske concludes that he is not a powerless child anymore and that he will save the people of Wano from Orochi and Kaido’s rule and become their Shogun. After that, Onigashima suddenly starts heading towards the Flower Capital.

On the rooftop of Onigashima, Luffy and Kaido are having their most epic duel ever. Luffy is in the air and uses the attack “Gum-Gum Lightning!” on Kaido as he grabs lightning from the sky and throws it towards Kaido.

Kaido is shocked by seeing how absurd Luffy’s new powers are while he dodges his attacks. But Luffy surrounds Kaido with strings of lightning and comes close to him by bouncing off those strings and attacks Kaido with a barrage of lightning.

Luffy then jumps off the ground and is about to attack Kaido, but Kaido hits him with his Hassaikai which sends Luffy flying. Luffy instantly regains his balance, circles around the whole Onigashima and attacks Kaido in the stomach.

Luffy then runs around the battlefield but Kaido attacks him with his “Blast Breath”. Luffy then grabs yet another lightning from the sky and uses it as a rope to propel himself and launches himself into Kaido’s direction.

Both of them engage in an epic clash of Haoshoku Haki (Conqueror’s Haki) and repel each other. Luffy lands on the clouds and changes them into rubber too. Luffy then grabs all the lightning present inside those clouds and throws all of it towards Kaido.

Kaido dodges those attacks while closing his distance towards Luffy and attacks him again. Kaido tells Luffy that a Devil Fruit power will never conquer the world. Kaido keeps on relentlessly attacking Luffy while telling him that it’s amazing how things work.

Just like how Roger was not a Devil Fruit power user and he only used Haki. Ony Haki can trump all else. Kaido then uses one of his most powerful attacks against Luffy “Destroyer of Death: Thunder Bagua” which sends Luffy flying.

Inside the Flower Capital, everyone is celebrating the Fire Festival and paying respect to the dead. They all release the Sky Boat thinking that from tomorrow they must return to the life of slavery again. All of them hope that they will survive another year.

On the rooftop of Onigashima, we can see the damage caused by the fight between Luffy and Kaido. Kaido remembers that Kuzoki Oden was also a Haki user and did not possess any Devil Fruit power. Then suddenly, Luffy grabs Kaido’s chest and starts pulling Kaido towards him.

Kaido tells Luffy to let him go as Luffy is betraying his own location. Kaido then turns into a dragon and uses “Dragon Twister: Demolition Breath” against Luffy which sends sharp slashes of air towards Luffy.

Kaido states that Luffy’s vulnerability to cutting attacks hasn’t changed. Luffy takes some amount of damage from Kaido’s attacks. Kaido tells Luffy to come down as he attacks Luffy with his “Blast Breath”. Luffy faces this attack head-on.

Inside the castle we see Orochi getting burned while Hiyori is standing there watching. Then suddenly a gust of wind comes and the Sea Prism Stone nail comes off due to some kind of tremor.

Orochi finally uses his Devil Fruit ability and turns into a giant serpent. Orocho tells Hiyori that he will at least take Hiyori down with him and asks Oden if he is watching his daughter’s death.

On the Performance Floor Hyogoro and other Samurai, they heard that Onigashima was about to fall. Hyogoro states that it means that Kaido is getting cornered by Straw Hat Luffy. Hyogoro then asks his people which one they prefer.

If the straw hat man takes Kaido down, they will fall and die. If they survive, that means Kaido wins. Everyone starts laughing and tells Hyogoro that it’s an easy choice. They all have wives and children in Wano Country and if Kaido gets taken down, they can live happily ever after. After that, everyone starts cheering for Straw Hat Luffy and prays for his victory.

Usopp is fleeing the flames along with the heavily injured Foxfire Kin’emon and Kikunojo with a determination to survive. Suddenly the water that Raizo unleashed with Jimbe’s help comes down to save them. Hyogoro asks Luffy that a new dawn will surely come to the Land of Wano and that he can hear Luffy’s voice.

Luffy’s Final Attack

On the rooftop, Kaido is wondering why Luffy is not coming down and what is he doing. We then see a shadow of something really huge falling on Onigashima. Momonouske is trying his best to stop Onigashima.

Then, Luffy calls out to Momonouske and tells him to finish it up. We then see an enormous fist coming out of the clouds while Luffy tells Momonouske that Onigashima is in the way and tells him to move it. Luffy’s fist is so massive that Onigashima looks small in comparison to it.

Yamato claims that this fist can punch a hole in Onigashima. Momonouske asks Luffy to wait as he is not ready yet. Luffy tells Momonouske that he trusts Momonouske and that he can do it.
