In Tokyo Revengers, when Takemichi learnt that Draken had died, and due to that, Mikey had turned evil, so Takemichi went into the past and tried to change Draken’s fate.

Still, Draken’s death could not be avoided, no matter how hard he tried.

During Season 1, when Takemichi returned, he learnt that Kiyomasa of the Kiyomasa Gang would stab Draken, and due to blood loss, Draken would eventually die.

Therefore to save Draken, Takimichi returned 12 years back in time and joined Draken in the fight and managed to save him, but when he returned back in time, he learned that Draken still died.

But this time, Draken wasn’t stabbed; instead, this time, he died while protecting Takemichi.

Draken learnt that the Rokuhara Tandai gang was after Takemichi, and as Takemichi was on a date with Senju Kawaragi, unknown about the fact that his life was in danger, Draken went to save him.

Although the members of Rokuhara Tandai tried to kill Takemichi, Draken protected Takemichi until his last breath and while protecting one of the bullets struck Draken on the chest, and he slowly fell onto the ground.

When the Paramedics arrived, they confirmed that Draken was dead.

Can Takemichi save Draken?

No! No matter how hard Takemichi tried, Draken’s death is one of the absolute points in time which can’t be altered.

Draken’s death was confirmed in Chapter 224 of Tokyo Revengers, where Draken learnt that Takemichi’s life was in danger and the Rokuhara Tandai motorcycle gang members were after Takemichi’s life.

So Draken tries to save Takemichi and fights with the Rokuhara Tandai gang members but eventually gets wounded due to a gunshot.

Then he falls to the ground; both Takemichi and Senju ask for help. But Draken tells them to get away before the police arrive, but Takemichi waits until the Paramedics arrive, and they confirm that Draken has died.

So, therefore, Takemichi couldn’t save Draken, although he delayed Draken’s death.

Draken was supposed to die 12 years ago while fighting the Kiyomasa gang, but Takemichi went back in time and saved Draken’s life at that time.

And Draken repaid the same by saving Takemichi’s life and sacrificing himself 12 years later.
