Many people who have iPhones have this issue: their iPhone battery drains very fast, so what drains the battery most? here is the list of default iPhone settings that are slowly draining your iPhone battery; you can follow our guide to turn off some of those to get better battery performance.
iPhone Battery Drains Fast: What drains the iPhone battery most? Default iPhone Settings That Are Slowly Draining Your iPhone Battery
Too many running Apps in the background
Sometimes while we use iPhones for extended periods, we generally open too many browsers and applications.
It is evident that sometimes after using a particular application, we switch to another application and forget about the first one; when that happens, that application still runs in the background and is responsible for draining your battery life.
So if too many applications run in the background, that generally drains the battery; the reason is that when the apps are in a paused state, it means they are not being used, and the RAM of our mobile drains power from the battery to keep the data in the memory; therefore more applications are paused/running in the background; the more energy will drain from the battery.
So to minimize this mistake, we should always close the applications we are not using by simply going to our home screen-> swiping up, ->app review screens->close the apps we are not using.
Keeping iPhone’s screen at full brightness or using the Auto Brightness feature
The most common mistake we generally make with iPhones is keeping our phone brightness to the fullest or using the iPhone’s auto brightness feature.
The auto-brightness feature based on the ambient light levels of your surroundings automatically fixes your brightness level.
On the other hand, if we keep our mobile brightness to the fullest, the battery will drain itself quickly to maintain that level of brightness.
These two are responsible for draining your iPhone battery to maintain brightness levels.
Therefore to fix such issues, we need to turn off the auto brightness feature and keep our brightness level at a suitable range.
To disable the auto brightness feature: go to Settings->Accessibility->Display and Text Size-> Turn off the Auto Brightness feature.

If we keep our location services on
We all know that these days most of the applications we use, be it Facebook, Whatsapp, Uber, Youtube, or Google Maps, track your location and sell it to marketers so that it would be easier for them to show you ads which you might be interested in.
One of the most common mistakes is that we set our location services ‘Always.’
As per hubstaff.com, a recent study found that GPS applications drain battery life by 13% in an area with good signal strength and 38% in an area with weak signal strength.
So when the location services are used all the time, it will impact the battery.
The location tracking can also be restricted by selecting Never or Only When Using the App option from settings.
Once this is done, the application will track your locations when you are using that application, but not all the time; hence it will not drain your battery all the time for keeping the services on and maintaining it to pass location information from the application.
So to enable the location services as ‘Never’ or ‘Only when using the App’, you need to go to Settings->Privacy->Location Services->Select the Apps->Change the Allow Location Access option to ‘Never’ or ‘Only when using the App’.

Not Clearing your cache too often.
One of the most common mistakes people make is not clearing caches while using their iPhones for days.
Therefore, this increases junk files such as temporary and corrupted files, caches, cookies, and crash logs generated by apps.
If these are stored for days, they directly impact the battery drainage and cause slowness issues, so it is always advised to clear cache files every 3-4 days.
Although cache makes your phone slower by slowly eating out your phone memory, if the caches are not clear for days, it fills the memory inside the RAM.
Therefore RAM will now have to take more energy from the battery to keep the new applications up and running or the same application if it is opened fresh.

Therefore, cache files impact RAM, which compromises RAM performance; hence, RAM will have to drain more power from the battery. Therefore it drains the battery.
You can do that via Settings->Safari->clear all the cache files.
