To that, Maester replies, Corlys Velaryon led his sailors to an ambush, and in fighting, his neck was slashed by Corsair's dagger. It was believed that during Dance of the Dragon, Lord Corlys was one of the strong supporters of Rhaenyra, as most of the House Blacks' army were Lord Corlys' men.
