Netflix’s new documentary series “Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story” is based on one of the most horrific killers in American history, Jeffrey Dahmer.
In the documentary series, we were introduced to Konerak Sinthasomphone, one of the victims of Jeffrey Dahmer.
Konerak Sinthasomphone was a 14-year-old boy who Jeffrey Dahmer killed; it was reported that when Konerak managed to flee from Jeffrey, two police officers stopped and instead of taking care of the poor boy and giving medical attention to him, they escorted the poor boy over the boy to Jeffrey’s apartment against after which Jeffrey killed him.
Three onlookers protested against police officers and told them to give medical attention to the boy and check Jeffrey’s apartment, but the police officers didn’t do anything. Instead, they escorted the boy to Jeffrey’s apartment.

Who was Konerak Sinthasomphone? and What Happened to Konerak Sinthasomphone?
In 1988 Konerak Sinthasomphone, with his family, moved to Milwaukee.
Somsack Sinthasomphone, the elder brother of Konerak, was also lured in by Jeffrey three years before his brothers’ death, but Somsack was lucky and managed to save himself, but this wasn’t the case for Konerak as he was not aware of Jeffrey.
When Konerak encountered Dahmer, Dahmer convinced the boy to come to his apartment as he would take some pictures of him and would pay him but instead, unbeknownst to Konerak, just in Dahmer’s bedroom was the inflated, degraded body of the 31-year-old Tony Hughes, whom Dahmer had killed just a couple of days earlier.
When Konerak was lured in by Dahmer, he first drugged the boy, assaulted him, drilled a hole in his head, and injected hydrochloric acid.
Dahmer hoped to put the boy into a zombie-like state to have control over his victims.
Later Dahmer left Konerak as he was and left the apartment, and the following day at around 2 a.m, Konerak was able to escape.
He came across three women, Sandra Smith, Tina Spivey and Nicole Childress; they saw the state Konerak was in and alerted the police officers.
When Dahmer returned and found Konerak with women and police, Konerak was not in the state to plead for help as his head was drilled and poured with hydraulic acid. He had difficulties communicating due to the brain injury.
The three women alerted the police and told them to give him the required medical attention as he was bleeding badly, but the police officers present, John Balcerzak and Joseph Gabrish, didn’t listen to the word of those three women; instead, they believed what Dahmer stated that they were lovers and they had too many drinks and fought hence he was injured.

Later on, the police officers dismissed the paramedics who were called to treat Konerak and escorted him back to Dahmer’s apartment.
Officers also went inside Dahmer’s apartment, where Dahmer allegedly showed them the half-naked picture of Konerak.
Just the next door, the inflated, swollen body of Tony Hughes was also there, but the officers present didn’t think of investigating any further.
They left the poor boy at Dahmer’s apartment, after which Dahmer poured the boy’s head with more hydrochloric acid, killing him.
Dahmer, in his confession tape, stated that after pouring the hydrochloric acid, he checked the heartbeat of Konerak, but he couldn’t hear anything; he also added that he didn’t want to kill him.
Konerak’s body was later on dismembered, and it was found with other remains of Dahmer’s victims.
When the Sinthasomphone family filed a lawsuit against the Milwaukee Police department, the lawsuit revealed discriminatory practices towards minorities and homosexuals by the Police Department.
The officers charged, John Balcerzak and Joseph T. Gabrish, were suspended from their posts, but later on, when they appealed about their termination, they were reinstated.
John Balcerzak was even made the president of the Milwaukee Police Association back in 2010.
Jeffrey Dahmer is the sick personality who killed 17 men and was involved in necrophilia, cannibalism and dismemberment.
Jeffrey Dahmer was sentenced to a sixteenth term of life imprisonment in 1994, equivalent to 999 years and in the same year, he was killed by Christopher J. Scarver Sr in jail.
