He was given two additional life sentences for murdering Jeffry Dahmer.

Christopher Scarver was in jail for murdering his co-worker Steve Lohman in 1990.

Later on, after the killing of Jeffrey Dahmer and Jesse Anderson at Columbia Correctional Institution in 1994, his life sentence was doubled.

Jeffrey was sentenced to a sixteenth term of life imprisonment in 1994, equivalent to 999 years and in the same year, he was killed by Christopher J. Scarver Sr in jail.
