Brahmastra: Part One-Shiva Review
Well, I thoroughly enjoyed the film, if you ask me I would say this is probably the best film released this year. I agree that the love story portrayed between Isha and Shiva in the film was too far-fetched, and it did contain some cringe dialogues in between, but if you eliminate that aspect, then the Brahmastra Part 1 offered everything; the story has been written skillfully, the VFX was amazing, and the climax was superb.  Trust me, from Srk's entry as Mohan Bhargava, Nagarjuna's use of Nandi Astra, to the post-interval scene and, lastly, the climax scene, everything was amazingly showcased. If you ask me I would recommend you to watch this film. It will glue you to your seat till the end. My honest opinion would be to support directors like Ayan Mukherjee for trying something new and creating something so magical on the big screen.  This film is something we have not witnessed in the Indian film industry so far, so please don't trust any of the critics' reviews that you see online; please go and watch the film and judge it yourself. Brahmastra: Part One-Shiva is amazing, and the film offers everything from great visual effects to an incredible climax and a great storyline; you will surely enjoy the film. If I had to rate it, I would give it a solid 95/100.

Brahmastra: Part One-Shiva Ending Explained: Did Shiva manage to save Isha at the end?

The film introduces Shahrukh Khan as Mohan Bhargava, a scientist who possesses the Vanar Astra (The powers of a supreme “Monkey”).

SRK also possesses one of the three pieces of Brahmastra and is sworn to protect it from falling into the wrong hands, but at the film’s beginning, he is sabotaged by Moni Roy (Junoon).

Junoon’s mission in the film is to take over all three pieces of Brahmastra to revive the supreme Deva, to whom she is devoted.

She successfully captures the first piece. Using her powers, she forced Mohan Bhargava to reveal the names of the people having the rest of the two pieces.

Mohan Bhargava then shows her a vision of Anish Shetty, played by Nagarjuna, who holds the next piece.

Now the film’s focus gets shifted to Shiva, played by Ranbir, a DJ by profession who is also a devotee of Ma Durga; he falls in love with Alia Bhatt in the film, who plays the character of Isha.

Shiva starts having visions of the Astras lately, but he doesn’t understand why this is happening, also when Junoon attacks Mohan, Shiva dreams about the same and sees Mohan revealing the whereabouts of Anish Shetty.

Now next target for Junoon was one famous artist named Anish Shetty, played by Nagarjuna. Nagarjuna, in the film, possesses the powers of Nandi Astra, the power of 1000 powerful Nandi (Bulls).

When Junoon goes for his next target Anish, Shiva has already anticipated that something will happen to Anish. Hence he also starts his journey to Vanarasi to protect Anish.

When Shiva reaches and meets Anish, Shiva reveals the details of the Astras.

Anish is surprised to see Shiva knows all these; then we see Junoon, Raftar and Zor attack Anish, and then we see a beautiful visually spectacle fight between Anish and the villains.

Anish managed to save both Shiva and Isha, and they now decide to go to Himachal Pradesh to meet Guru Arvind to inform them about this attack.

But while travelling on the road, we see Junoon, Raftaar, and Zor also manage to catch up with them.

Therefore Anish now decides that Isha and Shiva should go to the Ashram to meet Guru Arvind, and he should buy them some time by stopping Junoon and her men.

Now Anish, with the help of powerful Nandi Astra, injures the villains and throws them off the mountains, but at the same time gets heavily injured due to the bullet wounds and ends up dying.

Isha and Shiva continue their journey to find Guru Arvind and the Ashram.

Who is Guru Arvind? What happens after that?

Guru Arvind is the master of Brahmansha, a group of people who possess different types of Astras and have sworn to protect the mighty Brahmastra, the most powerful Astra. If it falls into the wrong hands, then it would be the end of the world.

After Shiva meets Guru Arvind and masters Agni Astra, Arvind reveals to him about his parents; he tells him that Shiva is the Son of Dev and Amrita.

Both Dev and Amrita were lovers at first.

Dev was an excellent warrior, but he had the desire to take over the Brahmastra and destroy the world, but Amrita stopped him.

Both fought on a remote island while Amrita was pregnant with Shiva, and she managed to trap Dev in a statue someplace(whereabouts are unknown).

Shiva also reveals that Dev’s mortal form is still somewhere, as being a user of Agni Astra, he can sense it, and that is the reason why Junoon is looking for the Brahmastra.

Therefore Arvind instructs Shiva to start working on his powers and master the Agni Astra.

Both Shiva and his father are users of the same Astra called Agni Astra.

Guru Arvind advises Shiva that Agni Astra is one of the most powerful Astras if he manages to master it then only they would stand a chance against Junoon and her army.

Later, we see Junoon finally finding out about the Ashram and attacking there.

She captures everyone, and the fight breaks in, but Junoon finally succeeds in getting the missing piece and joins all three parts of Brahmastra; this creates a massive earthquake, and Dev returns to his mortal form (revealed in the ending scene).

Brahmastra: Part One-Shiva Ending Explained: How did Shiva save everyone from Dev?

After summoning the pieces together, the force was so strong that it created a massive earthquake.

Arvind tells Shiva to run away from here or else he will die, but Shiva is not willing to leave her lover Isha behind.

Hence, he decides to sacrifice himself, uses his Agni Astra to get hold of the Brahmastra and manages to save Isha at the same time.

In the end, we see Dev finally breaks out from his statute and comes to his mortal form, which means Shiva and others just survived the catastrophe for now, but the fight between the father and the Son will probably continue in Part 2 of Brahmastra.

Part 2 of Brahmastra has been titled Brahmastra: Part 2-Dev, and Shiva’s mother (Deepika Padukone) will be present in the next part.

In the next part, we will witness Amrita and Dev’s love story and maybe the fight at the end.

The Brahmastra: Part 2-Dev will be the origin story of Dev and Amrita.

The second part will release somewhere in 2024.

The rumours are we will be going to see Hrithik Roshan/Ranveer Singh as Dev and Deepika Padukone as Amrita.

Brahmastra Ending Explained: Why didn’t Amrita kill Dev? And How did Amrita die?

In Brahmastra part 1, it is revealed that Amrita and Dev loved each other and had a son, Shiva.

Dev always had greed for powers, and he wanted to take the Brahmastra with the help of Agni Astra and destroy the world, but when his intentions were revealed in front of Amrita, she did not allow him to do so.

Amrita possessed the powers of Jal Astra, so she was also very powerful.

When they fought one another on a distant island where Amrita managed to defeat Dev.

But she couldn’t kill him as she loved him so much, so what she did was she sealed Dev inside a statue so that he could not do any harm to others after that.

Also, to protect the Brahmastra, she sent out the two parts to Brahmangsh so that they could protect the Brahmastra from getting into the wrong hands.

And the last one, she kept it to herself.

As revealed by Shiva in the film, her mother died when he was young due to a fire that broke out in his flat.

And as showcased in the film, the fire broke out when Shiva activated his Agni Astra for the first time.

As Shiva is the holder of Agni Astra, it did nothing to him, but her mother Amrita was the holder of Jal Astra, so that’s why the fire killed Amrita.

We will probably have to wait for the release of Brahmastra: Part 2-Dev to witness the origin story of Dev and Amrita.
