A Recap of Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Episode 6: What Evidence Does Cinda Find?

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Episode 6 has been titled “Performance Review”.

At the beginning of Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Episode 6, we find Jimmy Russo, a former co-worker of Mabel, arriving at Cinda Canning’s office for an interview.

It so happens that when Mabel and Jimmy worked at a restaurant years ago, Mabel had accidentally pushed Jimmy when he was making her feel uncomfortable, and one of his fingers got stuck in a meat mincer.

So, it seems Jimmy now wants his share of publicity and revenge.

Elsewhere, we find Alice taking photos of the blood stains on the floor of Mabel’s apartment, where Bunny was murdered.

We also watch Charles meeting Jan again in prison, where Jan professes her love for Charles. However, she brushes off the fact that she had literally tried to kill him and very hilariously says that she has already apologised for that incident.

Elsewhere, we also find a very nervous Oliver undergoing a paternity test.

Charles starts shooting for Brazzos when Mabel and Oliver arrive at the sets. Oliver has the CCTV footage showing the back of the murderer, and the trio wonders what to do with this new piece of evidence.

They text a message to detective Williams who replies that she will meet them to look into this evidence. Just then, a cop arrives at the sets and tells them that Detective Kreps wants to meet them at Bunny’s apartment.

At Bunny’s apartment, the trio finds Cinda Canning as well. Detective Kreps had called all of them to convince them to discontinue their podcasts, which interfered in the police investigation.

Cinda refuses to withdraw her podcast “Only Murderers In The Building”. Instead, she informs the trio of the juicy interview with Jimmy Russo.

Detective Kreps informs the trio that Detective Williams is in Denver on maternity leave. This makes the trio realise that, instead of Detective Williams, they might have been texting the killer about the progress of their investigation all this time.

Mabel sees Cinda treating her assistant Poppy like dirt and tells Poppy that she doesn’t really have to put up with all this.

The new episode of Cinda’s podcast is out with Jimmy Russo’s interview, projecting Mabel as a blood-thirsty maniac.

Detective Williams texts the trio to put the piece of evidence in a trash bin near Morning Side Park.

Now that the trio know that it’s the killer who is texting them, they decide to plant a glitter bomb instead in the trash bin. After doing this, the trio wait for the killer in the car.

Before long, they get into an argument about Charles meeting Jan in prison and miss the moment when the supposed masked killer tries to extract the package from the trash bin, and the glitter bomb explodes on their face.

Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Episode 6 Ending Explained: What are Alice’s True Intentions?

At the end of Only Murders in the Building Season 2 Episode 6, we find Charles’s body double, Sezz Pataki going to prison to meet Jan and announcing to her that Charles has said a final goodbye to her.

Charles sends Sezz because he knows he is too weak to handle confrontation.

Elsewhere, Mabel finds Alice enacting and shooting Bunny’s murder scene at Mabel’s apartment. It seems like Alice has befriended Mabel just to get access to her apartment and to cash in on the popularity of the Bunny murder case.

A shocked Mabel feels betrayed. She is in a haze and leaves. She boards a train when Poppy calls her to say that Cinda is a liar.

Mabel, however, is not in a position to react to this piece of news. Just then, Mabel finds a masked person covered with glitter approaching her.

Elsewhere, we find a very nervous Oliver waiting for the results of his paternity test.

Charles asks Oliver if Oliver needs a hug. Right at the moment, Will sends him a video in which Mabel attacks a masked person while everybody calls her bloody Mabel.

Oliver asks Charles for a hug, and they clumsily hug each other.
