Nobara Kugisaki’s Powers and Abilities Explained-What are Nobara’s Powers in Jujutsu Kaisen?
Nobara Kugisaki‘s Straw Toll Resonance Technique and ability to sustain pain tolerance
Nobara Kugisaki or Kugisaki Nobara’s main powers are her high pain tolerance ability and Straw Toll Resonance Technique which allows the user to infuse nails with cursed energy and throw them as bullet shots through the air.
Nobara uses her cursed energy-infused nails as projectiles.
These nails are sent into the target utilising a hammer to hit them and drive them forward as shots.
Nobara was tested by Gojo Satoru at the beginning of Jujutsu Kaisen, where she was asked to exercise the curses in Roppongi, a place in Tokyo.
Nobara was asked to enter a building with some curses that also included some curses that have developed wisdom over a period of time.
She was given this task along with Yuji Itadori, the protagonist.
As a cursed energy user, Nobara Kugisaki can see curses easily.
After entering a building, Nobara sensed a curse hiding a statue. But she could see that curse with no effort at all.
This instance was the first time we saw Nobara use her powers and cursed techniques.
Nobara used a hammer and nails to exercise that curse.
Nobara embeds her cursed energy in the nails. She attacked the curse attacking her with nails embedded with cursed power.
But the curse was still unaffected and stood his ground.
So once the nails are embedded with the cursed energy, Nobara’s cursed energy flows into any object that comes in contact with the nails.
After the curse stood back again, Nobara increased the flow of the cursed energy and pierced the head of the curse, and the curse was exercised.
There was one more curse in the building, which was capable of thinking and had intelligence.
This curse took a child hostage that had accidentally entered the building while playing. But unfortunately, the curse was also trying to hurt that child.
That was not a powerful curse, and she was aware of that fact, which was why he chose to take a hostage.
Nobara was trying to calm herself down and surrendered to the curse by dropping her weapons, which were hammer and nails.
Suddenly Yuji Itadori shows up, cuts the hand of that curse, and saves the child.
The curse was trying to escape. But Nobara Kugisaki asks Itadori to throw that arm that was cut towards her.
This time Nobara used an utterly different technique that uses a straw doll, nails and a hammer.
She placed the straw doll on the arm of that curse and pierced it with a nail using a hammer.
This technique was known as the Straw Toll Technique Resonance.
The Straw doll technique has a wide range.
And the curse that was trying to escape was defeated and exercised.
Nobara’s Fight In the Kyoto Sister School Exchange Event
Nobara fought against a senior student and gave her a run for her money.
She used the straw doll technique in that fight.
We got to see that Nobara Kugisaki can also use her curse energy on inanimate objects and trees.
Nobara’s Resolve Against a Special Grade
This was when the first years, Nobara Kugisaki, Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro faced a special grade curse.
Itadori and Nobara faced curses born from a human and a curse. These curses manifested a great power.
These curses were named Eso and Kechizu. They were partially human and partially curses
They were affected by the poison from one of the curses.
However, Itadori was unaffected by that poison because he has resistance to all forms of poison because of Ryomen Sukuna.
The curse’s cursed technique was linked to Nobara’s body which allowed Nobara to use the Straw Doll Technique: Resonance on her own body, which in turn affected the curses.
It is a technique that deals great damage to the target’s main body.
The resonance uses the link to its target, and the curse used his own blood for his cursed technique against Nobara and Itadori.
This inflicted significant damage to the curses, and the curse was forced to release their cursed technique.
Eventually, the curses were defeated.
All the first years defeated a special grade curse in this fight.
This fight also showed that Nobarahas great tolerance for pain.
