A Recap of Kiss Sixth Sense Episode 8

At the beginning of Kiss Sixth Sense Episode 8, the audience is taken three years back when, after a break-up with Yesool, Lee desperately tries to get in touch with her.

Yesool tells her cousin, Ban Howoo, that in her visions, she has seen Lee getting married and having a kid with Eujung, their classmate. Lee, who is standing just outside, overhears this conversation.

In the present timeline, Lee, on the pretext of taking Yesool to director Lim, takes her to meet Eujung. There Yesool finds that Eujung is already married and has a kid, as well.

Eujung tells Yesool that she always had a crush on Lee, and when she heard that Lee had broken up with Yesool, she went to him and kissed him.

Eujung adds that after this, Lee stopped meeting her and started meeting her only after getting married. Lee also spends a lot of time with her one-year-old kid and seems very friendly.

So, it turns out that Yesool had misinterpreted her visions and was totally wrong about Lee. She is guilt-ridden and doesn’t seem to understand what to do next. She storms out of the place, and Lee follows her.

They have a confrontation on the road itself, which some onlookers record. Yesool ignores some of Cha’s calls, and when she finally calls him back, it gets picked up by Jiyoung.

It so happens that Cha has come to Jiyoung’s place to have lunch with her father and her. Cha’s phone was lying on the table when Yesool called, and Jiyoung picked it up. Jiyoung tells Yesool that Cha has told her about Yesool’s unique ability.

Yesool gets furious with Cha for sharing her deepest secret with Jiyoung. Actually, Cha had told Jiyoung that when he is with Yesool, his symptoms seem to ease- this unique ability of Yesool he was talking about.

Meanwhile, Yesool’s video with director Lee goes viral, and Cha, too, sees it. He confronts Yesool about it when Yesool too tells him about her conversation with Jiyoung. Yesool demands an explanation from Cha which he is not able to provide.

Lee’s team does the damage control job by locating the person who had downloaded the video and got it revoked and also managed the media.

Elsewhere we find that Dr Seungtaek is still picking on Dr Ban Howoo. Seungtaek thinks this will make Ban see reason, but he considers Ban totally unaffected. So Seungtaek finally makes peace with Ban.

The production and planning teams are going to the Jeju island to shoot the Mopix commercial. Yesool is having a walk with mom the night before when we find a stalker at her trail!

Kiss Sixth Sense Episode 8 Ending Explained

The team arrives at Jeju island, where Yesool tries to maintain a distance from Cha.

Meanwhile, Yesool’s mom finds the photo frame with Yesool’s father’s photograph empty. She calls and asks Yesool about it but is unaware of it.

Meanwhile, the cops call Cha telling him that the burglar has been caught, but he claims he didn’t enter Yesool’s house. Cha is worried to know that his description doesn’t match the person he had seen at Yesool’s place.

Cha warns Jiyoung that if she keeps saying stupid things to Yesool, he will never talk to her. Jiyoung forcibly kisses Cha. Yesool sees this and gets furious with Cha. Cha follows her, but she is not ready to listen to him.

Jiyoung’s kissing has made Cha sick, and his symptoms seem to have returned. He goes to his room and lies on the floor. Just downstairs in the room, Yesool was sharing with Eomji. Cha overhears Eomji saying that Yesool has not yet returned to her room.

Sensing that Yesool might be in danger, Cha goes on to find her, though he is in bad shape. We then see an upset Yesool going on aimlessly into the wilderness.

At the same time, her stalker, who is following her in his car, dips some cotton into a bottle, supposedly containing chloroform!

The mannerisms of the stalker are the same as that of Haejun, who works at the bar Yesool regularly goes to. Yesool trusts him a lot and tells him everything about her personal life.

Haejun, too, seems to be very supportive of her and always tries to give her sane advice. He also advised her not to take too much caffeine.

What grudge Haejun holds against Yesool or her father will be known in the coming episodes of Kiss Sixth Sense. Haejun might be having a grudge against director Hong Sungjoon, Yesool’s father, as when he entered her house, he didn’t take anything except for Hong Sungjoon’s photograph.

Kiss Sixth Sense is a Korean romantic comedy-drama series directed by Nam Ki Hun, while Jeon Yoo Ri did the screenplay. It is based on a web novel by the same name.

The series revolves around a workaholic executive Hong Yesool, played by Seo Ji-hye, who works in an advertising agency, and also possesses the ability to look into the future when she kisses someone.

Yesool is overworked, an insomniac and doesn’t seem to have much personal life. However, her boss, Cha Minhu, played by Yoon Kyle-sang, is outwardly very hard on her but, at the same time, cares a lot for her.
