Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 10 Recap and Ending Explained

Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 10 was very heartwarming. Rapthalia was finally able to reunite with Naofumi and his party.

With Filo and Rapthalia back on the team, the Shield Hero’s party is complete, along with Rishia and one more additional cardinal Hero, the Hunting Hero, Kizuna.

But that’s not all! Rapthalia is now also a wielder of the Vassal Weapon.

She is the same as L’Arc, Glass, Theresa, Ethnobalt, and Kyo. She has also returned to her original self in terms of strength and body.

What’s more interesting now is the fact that all the Wielders of Vassal Weapons that Naofumi have met till now (except Kyo) and the Hunting Hero will help him fight Kyo, the Wielder of the Book Vassal Weapon.

Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 10 Recap: The Escape from the Prison of Exhaustion

Rapthalia was not able to teleport along with the Shield Hero Naofumi, the Hunting Hero, Kizuna and Rishia. She fell into Kyo’s trap and was captured. 

Later on, she is taken to a prison and to her surprise, she finds L’Arc, the wielder of the Scythe Vassal Weapon, Glass, the wielder of the Fan Vassal Weapon, and Teresa bound there in the same cell.

The guard tells Rapthalia that she would have to wait here till she is sent to Kyo, the evil wielder of the Book Vassal Weapon.

Initially, Rapthalia doesn’t trust them but later on agrees to cooperate as they still have a truce till they defeat Kyo. She also tells them how they managed to escape the Infinite Labyrinth along with the Hunting Hero Kizuna.

The glass was super excited to hear that Kizuna was now free.

But she forgot that the prison she was in had specific enchantments and was known as the Prison of Exhaustion.

This prison has magic that drains and exhausts those insides.

Also, it enhances the guards powers by using special talismans. And for spirits like glass, have their life force itself drained out of them.

Glass’s excitement weakened her more, and thus they needed to escape quickly or else she could die. Rapthalia figures out that they can use their powers even though they are weakened.

So she uses her illusion magic to create an illusion that the prison is empty.

When the guard entered to check, he could still see L’Arc, Therese, and Glass there, and this distracted him as there was no hiding place in the cell.

Using her illusion magic to hide, Rapthalia stole the Talisman from the guard and handed it to Glass.

Her powers returned to full and using that.

They managed to escape from the prison cell by blasting the wall.

Now they decide to head to Sikul together to catch up with Naofumi and Kizuna.

At the same time, they help Rapthalia to level up as much as she can.

Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 10 Ending Explained: The Wielder of the Katana Vassal Weapon

While passing through the city, they heard that a candidate for the Katana Vassal Weapon had been found.

So they decided to see who the supposed wielder was.

The Katana Vassal Weapon had been in Raybul for ages, and it is rumoured that only its true wielder would be able to draw the weapon out.

The one chosen by the vassal weapon is its true master.

Much to Rapthalia’s surprise, the candidate turned out to be Kazuki the right-hand man or partner of Kyo.

He was the one responsible for the trap laid for Naofumi and Kizuna.

Just when he was about to touch the Katana Vassal Weapon, the weapon emitted a green light and the next moment, it was in Rapthalia’s hands.

Turns out she will be the true wielder of the Katana Vassal Weapon.

After getting the Katana Vassal Weapon, the slave crest on her chest disappeared, and the weapon could no longer leave her hands.

She decided to run on her own. Kazuki claimed that she had stolen his vassal weapon and ordered the soldiers to chase her.

After a long chase, Rapthalia managed to get near an old temple-like building and fortunately, a woman there, seeing the Katana Vassal Weapon in her hand, invited her inside.

She claimed that her clan had served the Hero of the Katana Vassal Weapon for generations.

She gave Rapthalia a traditional dress worn by the Wielder of the Katana Vassal Weapon.

Now Rapthalia had transformed into her own self, a fully grown adult like she was before entering this dimension. The Vassal Weapon had increased her levels.

When she got out, she was surrounded by guards who were scared to fight the Hero of the Katana Vassal Weapon.

Kazuki joined them and challenged Rapthalia to a sword fight.

As expected, Rapthalia beat him easily without breaking a sweat.

He also unleashed copies of Byakko, one of the four holy beasts like the tortoise in her dimension.

As skilled as she was with a sword, Rapthalia easily killed them. But she had put too much energy into this and was exhausted.

Suddenly another giant beast attacked her, and fortunately, the Shield Hero Naofumi, Filo, Rishia, and the Hunting Hero Kizuna came to her aid.

Kizuna defeated the beast in an instant. Then there was a heartwarming reunion of Rapthalia, Filo, Rishia, and Naofumi, where almost all of them had tears in their eyes.

Rapthalia asked Naofumi to make her his sword again. And with this, the complete party of the shield hero is now together in action.

Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 11: What to Expect?

In Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 11, the main plot might revolve majorly around the Hunting Hero, Kizuna. How she came to this dimension as a Cardinal Hero etc.

Also, L’Arc, Teresa, and Glass might finally catch up to the team and face off against Kyo, the evil wielder of the Book Vassal Weapon.
