How Old is Eren Yeager in the Attack on Titan?: Eren Yeager’s Timeline Explained in the Attack on Titan

Eren was 10 years old when the gate of Wall Maria was destroyed, and Titans entered through it.

His home was completely destroyed by a huge boulder, and his mother’s legs were crushed under it.

Later on, she was eaten alive by a Titan.

Hannes takes Mikasa and Eren out of there and puts them on a boat which takes them to the inner walls.

Eren swears that he would avenge his mother and kill all the Titans.

For 2 years, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin lived in the Rose wall, barely surviving and training to become members of the Survey Corps.

At age 12, Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and many others signed up for the 104th Training Corps.

There they trained hard for three years to fight Titans and how to kill them.

At the age of 15, Eren graduated from the 104th Training Corps as the Top 5th candidate and decided to join the Survey Corps.

During their first assignment to slay Titans, Eren faces reality for the first time.

Many of his batchmates lose their lives and are eaten by the titans.

Even Eren was eaten by a Titan and lost his arm and a leg while saving Armin.

During that battle in the Trost District, inside a Titan’s stomach, Eren’s deep hatred towards Titans and injuries unleashed his powers, and he transformed into a Titan.

After becoming a Titan, Eren fought and killed all the Titans that met his eye.

His intense hatred toward Titans made him subconsciously kill all the Titans even when he transformed into one.

Turns out that Eren’s father, Grisha Yeager, had the powers of the Attack Titan.

He also stole the Founding Titan from the Reiss family and gave it to Eren after the fall of Trost District and the Wall Maria.

So, in a way, Eren got his Titan powers at the age of 10 itself, when he first became a mindless Titan but was finally able to use them for the first time at the age of 15 after graduating from the 104th Training Corps during his first mission as the Survey Corps.

Later, Eren met Captain Levi and Commander Erwin from the Survey Corps and thus began his journey as a survey corps member.

After that, many events take place, and so many of Erens comrades lose their lives, but Eren must continue his journey forward.
