In the Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 6, after defeating the spirit tortoise and fighting the vassal wielder of the book, he chased after him into another dimension along with his friends Raphtalia, Filo, and Rishia, following their friends/enemies Glass, L’Arc.
So what do you think happened to them? Were they able to successfully teleport into this another dimension? Or did they fail and were sent to some wrong place? Let’s find out.
Here is the detailed recap of what happened in Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 Episode 7, Infinite Labyrinth.
What happened to the Shield Hero Naofumi and his party of adventurers?
The Shield Hero Naofumi and his party of Filo, Raphtalia, and Rishia jumped into the portal, chasing after the one who killed the Spirit Tortoise’s soul.
When Naofumi woke up, he found himself in prison with Rishia by his side.
Filo and Raphtalia were missing, and much to his surprise, his own and Rishia’s level had been reset to Level 1.
His shield had also changed, and all of his unlocked abilities were no more available.
Suddenly Raphtalia jumped out of the dry grass lying beside the two, but Filo was missing.
Raphtalia had turned into her young self again, a child-like demi-human.
She was now the same age as when Naofumi found her at the slave traders.
She could not wield her sword, which was now understandably very large for her.
Meanwhile, Rishia was the same, but her abilities had decreased, and she was on Level 1 like everyone else.
What concerned everyone the most was Filo and her absence.

They soon discovered that the prison was not locked, and they stepped out of it.
They found another prison next to them where there was a stove and other stuff, which suggested that someone lived there and had brought all of them over thereafter, falling into this dimension.
Later on, they discovered an exit, and much to their surprise, after passing through it, they found themselves on an island surrounded by endless water.
They had passed through a luminous gate and ended up on the island. It was pretty mysterious to them as well.
Introduction of the Cardinal Hero, the Hunting Hero.
While searching for Filo, they came across lower-level monsters like the monster balloons, but this time they were made of cardboard.
Naofumi also found that they could Level up by defeating the monsters and gaining XP.
So they started training and fighting lower level monsters. Both Raphtalia and Rishia did a great job.
Suddenly, they were attacked by a strong monster who jumped out of the river.
Raphtalia’s blade could not scratch it, yet Naofumi jumped between the monster and Rapthalia to save her.

He asked them to run away, but they kept on trying to stop the monster, and it was futile.
The monster was about to attack Raphtalia when suddenly he was caught up in a strong rope and ripped to shreds.
It was done by a young girl carrying a fishing rod and using its rope to beat that powerful monster.
She introduced herself as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes, the Hunting Hero, Kazayama Kizuna.
After Naofumi introduced himself as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes, the Shield Hero, there was a bit of confusion as in this dimension, none of the Four Cardinal Heroes was called Shield Hero.
Seeing Naofumi’s wounds, they decided to treat him first.
Later on, Naofumi explained that he was a hero from another dimension.
Later on, it was also revealed that L’Arc and Glass were Kizuna’s friends.
She considered Glass her best friend but had not met her for many years.
Kizuna was captured by an enemy country and put into this Infinite Labyrinth with no means to escape.
She had lived here alone herself for the past many years that she lost count of. She also fought monsters here and levelled up.
It was also revealed that Kizuna was similar to Naofumi.
Her weapon could not harm others and was pretty useless against humans.
She even transformed it into a sword and cut Naofumi’s neck, but he was not even harmed in the slightest.
How did Naofumi and his team escape the Infinite Labyrinth along with the Hunting Hero?
The next morning Kizuna took Naofumi and his team to another place where she revealed a place she discovered where they felt a luminous impenetrable wall.
This was the only place in the Infinite Labyrinth where they found a way out, but it was closed.
Naofumi is not the one to give up so easily.
Hoping that it was a bug in a computer game, he thought of overloading it.
But since his level was too low, he asked Kizuna to help him prepare a seed.

He planted it in that room close to the exit, and immediately the monster tree grew in size, breaking apart the room and thereby opening a path out of the Infinite Labyrinth.
Soon enough, Naofumi jumped into it along with Raphtalia and Rishia.
He asked Kizuna to believe in him and jump. She also joined them, and later they found themselves in another world.
Kizuna confirmed that she was summoned as a Cardinal Hero, the Hunting Hero, and thus Naofumi had been successfully able to escape the Infinite Labyrinth.
Now he must find Glass and L’Arc to defeat the Vassal Wielder of the book and avenge Ost.
He must also find Filo and return back to his dimension to fight the waves and bring an end to the reign of monsters.
