In Moon Knight Episode 6, Arthur Harrow and his men finally freed Ammit from her imprisonment by breaking the ushabti.
In Episode 6, we saw Layla approached by Taweret to be her Avatar. Although Layla initially disagreed, later on, to defeat Ammit and help Marc in defeating Arthur Harrow, she eventually said yet to Taweret and became her Avatar.
We also saw Marc and Steven coming back from the afterlife, and then they, along with Layla, and Khonshu, managed to defeat Ammit and Arthur Harrow.
At the end of Moon Knight Episode 6, Layla and Marc imprisoned Ammit in the mortal form of Arthur Harrow’s body in the chambers of Gods.
After Ammit is successfully bound to Arthur Harrow’s body and is imprisoned, Khonshu tells Marc and Steven to kill Arthur Harrow because as long as Arthur Harrow is alive, Ammit will still live.
But Layla stops Marc and tells him they have a choice as he is free now. Khonshu disagrees and says they have a choice, which is vengeance. But, if they do not kill Arthur, Ammit will find another way out.
Marc decides to stop and tells Khonshu that if he wants to kill Arthur, he should do it by himself as he will not be going to kill Arthur and ask Khonshu to free him and Steven as his Avatars. Khonshu replies fine and releases Steven and Marc as his avatars.
Here is one thing to note Khonshu said he would be releasing Steven and Marc as his avatars but not Jake Lockley, who is the third Avatar of Khonshu. The post-credit scene of Moon Knight was about the revelation of the character Jake Lockley.

Moon Knight Episode 6 Post Credit Scene Explained: Who is Jake Lockley? and Did Jake Lockley kill Arthur Harrow?
We see Arthur Harrow in a mental asylum in the post-credit scene. We saw some guy appear with a Limousine and take Arthur Harrow out of the hospital and to the car.
We see Khonshu sitting inside the car. Arthur notices Khonsu and says, “Khonshu! You cannot hurt us anymore”.
But Khonshu replies, “You want to hear something funny, Arthur; Marc Spector truly believed that Khonshu would wish his wife Layla to be his next Avatar. But why would Khonshu ever need anybody else when he has no idea how troubled he truly is? Meet my friend Jake Lockley.”
We see Jake Lockley moving out his head from the driver’s seat, taking out the gun, and killing Arthur Harrow. This means Arthur and Ammit’s chapter is closed, and they are dead.
But the new chapter begins with the third Avatar of Khonshu, which is Jake Lockley. Although Khonshu has released Steven and Marc as his avatars, Jake Lockley, the third Avatar, is still serving Khonshu.
Maybe Steven and Marc don’t yet comprehend the frequent blackouts and why they turn into this third personality Jake Lockley.
Maybe in the Moon Knight Season 2, we will be witnessing more about the new third Avatar of Khonshu, Jake Lockley.

Also, when we saw Steven and Marc waking up directly after the incident in Cairo after they stopped Arthur and bound him and Ammit together.
Marc didn’t kill Arthur and told Khonshu to kill Arthur by himself if he wanted.
We think directly after that incident, the third persona Jake Lockley might have taken over Marc’s body, and he did the assassination of Arthur Harrow to stop Ammit for good.
Previously Khonshu suggested the same to Marc, but at that time, Marc didn’t agree with Khonshu and told Khonshu to free him and Steven and also to take matters into his own hands if he wanted to kill Arthur Harrow to stop Ammit for good.
Khonshu did so; he specially stated, “Fine as you wish, I will release Steven and Marc as my avatars .”He said “fine” at the end, which meant he would take care of the matter of assassinating Arthur Harrow on himself, and also, he would be releasing Steven and Marc as his avatars, not Jake Lockley.
Maybe sometime afterwards, after that whole incident, Marc might have unknowingly turned into Jake Lockley, killed Arthur Harrow, and returned to their home, where they woke up as Marc.
Also, we didn’t see Layla at the end. Will she still serve as the Avatar of Tawaret? We will know all these in detail in the Moon Knight Season 2.
Why is Jake Lockley Spanish in Moon Knight?
In the post-credit scene of Moon Knight, we see Jake Lockley speaking in Spanish before putting a bullet on Arthur Harrow, “Hoy te Toca a ti Perder”, which means “Today is your turn to lose”.
But why did Jake Lockley spoke in Spanish?. So, Mohamed Diab, the Moon Knight director in an interview with Collider spoke that the Spanish touch on Jake Lockley’s character was a creative choice and it was done by the lead Oscar Issac himself as he only thought portraying the 3 characters in three different way.
Therefore the Steven character was in British accent, Marc was in American accent and for Jake Lockley it was in Spanish accent as portaying each character in three different accents will enable the viewers to distinguish between each of them.
As per the comics, Jake Lockley is a persona operated by Marc Spector to gather information from the underworld. On day time Jake works as a cab driver who collects information for Marc to use. As Jake mainly operates from Mexico City so it is obvious that he would have some Spanish accent. Therefore Oscar Issac’s idea of keeping the Jake Lockley character a Spanish was indeed a creative brilliance.
