Gojo’s Six Eyes are extremely powerful. They give him the ability to see curse energy in too much detail. It is so much detail that analysing it can drain Gojo’s strength very quickly and tire him out.
Even his large amounts of curse energy could be drained in a few hours if he continuously uses his eyes.
Gojo can still sense the cursed energy and all other objects with his Six Eyes, even with a Blindfold.
It’s almost as if the blindfold is not there. But, the blindfold reduces Gojo’s Six Eyes’ ability to analyse things significantly.
As a result, Gojo’s strength remains conserved and is not drained out.
This Blindfold is not a flex to look cool but a necessity for Gojo to conserve his strength and prevent himself from running out of gas.
Is Gojo Satoru weaker without his Blindfold?
Absolutely not! Gojo is over a hundred times stronger when he has his Blindfold removed.
It is only when a battle gets serious or fighting a powerful enemy that Gojo removes his Blindfold to use his Six Eyes to the full extent.
Gojo’s Domain Expansion, the Infinite Void, requires him to use the Six Eyes to the full extent.
That’s when Gojo removes his blindfold, and his powers are amplified exponentially.
As seen in his fight against Jogo, the special grade curse, Gojo cancelled his Domain expansion with his own and removed his blindfold to reveal a set of beautiful and powerful eyes.
Also, during the sister school exchange event at the end of the last season, Gojo removed his blindfold and used his Six Eyes to cancel out a powerful barrier that prevented him from entering the fight.
Gojo removes his Blindfold only when he is dead serious.
Taking on Gojo without his blindfold is as good as inviting your own death. Even the special grade curses fear Gojo’s powers and consider him a threat.
How can Gojo Satoru see with his Blindfold?
Gojo’s Six Eyes are so powerful that even when his eyes are closed or covered with a thick black Blindfold or glasses, he can still sense the cursed energy of people and objects around him.
He can virtually see everything in his mind, the position of people around him and what they are doing.
So even with his Blindfold, Gojo was able to sense Jogo when he would attack him during their fight.
Gojo Satoru stepped out of the car and then faced Jogo alone.
Even when Jogo used his full strength, Gojo Satoru could easily block and avoid his powerful attacks without breaking a sweat.
And, not to mention that Jogo is a special grade curse whose powers can be compared to around 10 of Sukana’s fingers.
So, even with his Blindfold, Satoru was able to easily tackle a powerful Special Grade Curse all on his own.
So it is quite clear that even with his Blindfold or dark glasses, Gojo Satoru is very strong and can sense everything around him.
So the blindfold is necessary to prevent him from overusing his Six Eyes and tiring himself out.
