Who is the Love Hashira in Demon Slayer?
Mitsuri Kanroji is the current Love Hashira in the Demon Slayer Corps.
She is one of the most vital members of the Demon Slayer Corps and has unique abilities that make her the toughest demon slayers during a battle.

She inherits this from her mother but surpasses her multi-folds.
Mitsuri can easily lift huge boulders or heavy objects as if they were toys.
Even with this hard rock strong skin, Misturi is extremely flexible.
She can easily manipulate her body as per her will, and her flexibility is at par with Inosuke. (Except the part where he can move his organs inside his body as per his wish.)
Her extremely flexible body allows her to wield her unique Nichirin Blade. Mitsuri’s blade and fighting style are something else.
She can easily decapitate hundreds of demons without even a scratch on herself.

Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji uses the Love Breathing Technique, a breathing style that she herself developed from Flame Breathing.
Mitsuri was once a Tsugoku (a demon slayer trained by a Hashira) of the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku.
She practised Flame Breathing and eventually developed Love Breathing Form as it suited her.
Mitsuri was so talented that she passed the Final Selection only after six months of training, where it took Tanjiro over two years of intense training and practice to just make it out of the Final Selection alive.
Mitsuri Kanroji was taken as a Tsugoku by Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku and was supposed to master the Flame Breathing, which was passed down in the Rengoku Family from generations.
But, Mitsuri’s skills were far superior. She honed her breathing techniques to develop the Love Breathing and rose to the rank of Hashira soon. She is among the youngest Hashira’s in the Demon Slayer Corps.
Love Hashira, Mitsuri Kanroji’s Nichirin Blade
This is the part most of you might have been waiting for. The Nichirin Blade of Love Hashira Misturi Kanroji.
Mitsuri’s blade is unlike any known sword.
In fact, it is more of a whip than a sword. Love Hashira’s blade is a very sharp and thin whip made from the Nichirin Ore.
It is much longer than any sword, and Mitsuri needs to fold it multiple times before putting it in its sheath.
Mitsuri’s immense Flexibility allows her to easily manipulate the Blade and her body effortlessly.
Her whip-like blade can easily decapitate any demon.
Also, her superhuman strength creates powerful lashes of the blade that can even slice a large rock into two.

Mitsuri Kanroji was born in an ordinary family. She was strongest among all her siblings.
Her mother was also known for her strength, but Mitsuri was stronger than her even in her childhood.
Mitsuri’s body is eight times denser than any average human, and even a knife would require a super sharp edge and a lot of power to cause any damage. Mitsuri also had a great appetite.
She ate more than three times the food than her siblings.
Due to her superhuman strength and huge appetite, she was often called names by other children.
They even said that no one would marry her if she had such habits.
To overcome this, she started eating considerably less food and using almost no strength.
She tried to act more girl-like. Mitsuri wanted someone to love her and marry her for who she was.
For the same reason, she joined the Demon Slayer Corps.
Yes! It may sound absurd, but her primary reason for joining Demon Slayers was to find a husband who would be more powerful and stronger than her.
She thought that she would find such a person among the strongest people, but she herself was strong enough to make it to the rank of Hashira, the highest rank possible for a member of the Demon Slayer Corps.
So her chances of potential suiters reduced to Hashiras as they are the only ones who could be stronger than her.

Mitsuri has a loveable personality. She adores everyone for everything.
Even when Tanjiro was brought to Demon Slayer Headquarters and was about to be executed for travelling with a demon, Mitsuri was sad that a young boy with such an adorable face would have to die.
It seems that the Serpent Hashira, Obanai, loves Mitsuri Kanroji. He often buys her presents like the Green Coloured Socks the Love Hashira wears along with her Demon Slayer Uniform.
He also treats her to meals and knows when and how she is feeling. Their relationship is very cute, but unfortunately, they will have to come back in another life to marry each other.
Mitsuri, too loves the Serpent Hashira but express her feelings only in the end when he departs to battle the Demon King Kibutsuji Muzan and asks him to return alive.
They both would eventually die together after defeating the Demon King.
Do not get disappointed with this sad ending as the Love Hashira had lived its life to the fullest. She is also the first Hashira in this generation to unlock the Demon Slayer Mark.
She will defeat the Upper Demon Moon Four Hantengu in the Swordsmith Village Arc.
