Han and Chae’s married life is going through another rough patch. Assistant director Shin and Jin hang out together, finding comfort in each other’s company, while Jin’s mom is hellbent on marrying Ha Kyung to Shin.

In Forecasting Love and Weather Season 1 Episode 12, we will be made aware of the circumstances in which forecaster Lee got hurt in the explosion and what was reporter Chae doing at Jeju island at that time.

A Recap of Forecasting Love and Weather Season 1 Episode 11
Forecasting Love and Weather Season 1 Episode 11 has been titled “One Degree Centigrade”.
At the beginning of Forecasting Love and Weather Season 1 Episode 11, we find an ambulance carrying an injured Lee to the hospital. We also find that reporter Chae is with him, who calls the KMA headquarters to inform of this incident.

He asks Ha Kyung to think it all over while he stays at Jeju island.
Elsewhere. we find Han telling Chae that if she leaves, everything will be over between them, but Chae leaves nevertheless.
The next day in the office, we find that Ha Kyung already regrets her decision. When her boss asks her whom she has selected to go to the typhoon centre, she says she hasn’t decided yet. Lee, however, volunteers that he is going to the typhoon centre.
A very stressed Assistant director, Myung, wishes that she was the one who was going there.
Assistant director Myung later suggests that they have a staff dinner as a farewell gift to Lee. All the team members are agreeable except for Shin, who says that he is busy elsewhere.
Senior forecaster, Um, is pleased to have his daughter again at the KMA headquarters. He takes her to the cafeteria, where she looks visibly proud when the team members tell her that her father is the finest weather forecaster.
Um later insists that Bo-mi have some ham without realising that she is allergic to it. Bo-mi passes out in the washroom and is rushed to the hospital. Um’s wife is furious at him for being so negligent.

Forecasting Love and Weather Season 1 Episode 11 Ending Explained
Ha Kyung’s mom sends a message to Lee that she wants to meet him. Later, while having pizza together, she asks for Lee’s help in getting Shin and Ha Kyung closer. Lee keeps insisting that Shin is not the one for Ha Kyung.
It later turns out that assistant director, Shin, had declined to come to the staff dinner because he was to meet Jin about her next book on penguins. It is heartwarming to see Shin, a hermit, getting so comfortable with Jin.
It turns out that due to various reasons, Um, Lee and Shin are unable to attend the staff dinner and Ha Kyung, Myung and Kim are the only ones at the party. In, what becomes a ladies-only party, the ladies have a fill of drinks. Myung later has to call Lee to take Ha Kyung home.
Ha Kyung wakes up the next day to find that Lee has already left for the Jeju island, and Um is also leaving.
Cut to the present, Ha Kyung learns about Lee’s accident and is devastated. Han meets her and asks what Chae is doing there with Lee.
Ha, Kyung replies that Chae just happened to be there. Ha Kyung blames Han for all this. She says that she was so hurt by what Han did to her that she never could behave normally with Lee, and starts crying inconsolably.
Elsewhere, in the situation room, the monitor shows an approaching typhoon.
