Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 26 Ending Explained: Did Survey Corp and Marley Warrior Unit manage to retrieve the flying boat of the Azumabito Family from the Yeagerists?

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 26 starts with Hange and Theo Magath looking over the harbour from above and seeing the Yeagerists have entirely taken over the port and have also attached explosives in the Flying Boat.

Hange was surprised how did the Yeagerists had reached here so fast and taken measures to secure the whole port already probably; probably they were aware that Survey Corps and Marley military had joined forces together.

Theo Magath asked why they hadn’t destroyed the boat yet then it would have been over soon.

Hange replies, probably the reason being it could at least take decades to restore the tech when the world is gone probably. That is the reason why they haven’t destroyed the boat.

Also, probably they want to ensure the mainland is secure else. If they are aware that the Survey Corp and Marley Military people are here, they will probably blast the boat for sure, and preventing it would be not easy even with some of the Nine.

So Hange and Theo plan to move in the port and cautiously take the boat. When Hange looks towards the sea, she sees the smoke coming, which means the Founder and the Wall Titans probably have crossed the ocean and probably stepped foot in Marley as well.

As of Hange’s analysis, they are currently in the cities closest to the northeast probably. They have been destroyed by now.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 26 Ending Explained: What plans did Survey and the Marley Warrior Unit come up with to secure the Flying Boat? and What Happened to Armin in the end?

The Marley Warrior Unit and Survey Corps members discuss the plan to sneak into the port.

Annie and Reiner suggested that they will require all the ODM gears and Titan killing weapons, and if they get a chance, they must kill the Yeagerists

But Mikasa, Connie, Jean and Armin disagree with the plan. They said they couldn’t be reckless if they get reckless; Azumabito can get caught in between as well.

Annie asked why she should care about distant relatives of Eldians who attacked her homeland? But Pieck agrees with Armin that killing Azumabito will cause problems and asks Onyankopon if she is correct?

Onyankopon also agrees and states he should pilot the boat, but without Azumabito’s mechanics, it would just be a boat without wings.

Currently, the wings were folded up to make it easier to tow, and it is not just a matter of unfolding the wings as the original plan was to service it in the hanger and then fly it after some training.

Reiner asked how much time it would take on the service the boat? Onyankopon says he can’t know for sure, but Azumabito and her mechanics will be required to service the boat; hence they need Azumabito alive.

So the plans become difficult now. They will have to save Azumabito and her mechanics, plus they will have to make sure they do this without killing any of the Yeagerists.

Pieck says there is no other option either they had to wipe out the Yeagerists and take the boat or lose all hope to fight against Eren and stop the rumbling.

Connie now replies they are here to save the people, and they will have to murder some of the friends, and he can’t think of doing this.

Annie replies to Connie that what he is saying is true. They should not help in this operation as their friends are involved.

Reiner also agrees they can look after Gabi and Falco rest Annie and Reiner can take the boat.

Hange and Theo now arrives and says presumably the number of Yeagerists they have killed these things doesn’t matter anymore if they want to save humanity. They will have to take action now also.

Hange also expresses her concerns judged by steam coming out of the sea. She believes Eren and the Wall Titans might have reached Marley by now, and the cities closest to the northeast might have been destroyed. So they need to act fast.

Frustrated, Theo now attacks Yelena, asks where Eren is and hurt her in the process to get answers. Yelena replies if they take her with them, Yelena says she might tell where Eren is. Hange and Onyankopon stop Theo Magath and tell him now is not the time to torture Yelena they will first have to secure the boat first.

Theo said sorry to Mikasa, Armin, Jean and Connie for his behaviour last night. He says he was desperately trying to justify his actions and couldn’t see a vile he had become.

He asks for forgiveness from all of them and says none of them was to blame for what happened to Marley, and it is wrong to make them bear the pain of their people’s past sins.

Theo pleads everyone to come on board for this mission and stop Eren.

Armin and Connie first stage a plan. They went to Floch and said Cart Titan with Armored Titan had left by the sea, and they would need the Flying Boat to catch them and informed him sent Azumabito and the mechanics.

After reaching towards the boat, Armin and Connie meet Daz and Samuel. Armin asks them to remove the explosive as they need to stop the Marley.

Daz and Samuel ask Connie and Armin to calm down and tell them that they have heard they have teamed with Marley and will use the boat to stop the rumbling.

Connie and Armin further play on their act and say that if they stop Eren, the island will be doomed, and they do not want to take that chance. Daz and Samuel finally believed that they were telling the truth and disconnected the explosives from the Flying Boat.

Mikasa now sneaked into the room where Floch had kept Azumabito captive and attacked Floch.

Floch realizes Armin and Connie were lying, and the Marleyans are here as well, and he warns all the Yeagerists that it is a trap the Marley Warriors and Survey Corps have joined forces and want to sabotage Eren’s plan.

Floch further tells the Yeagerists to kill Mikasa, Armin and Connie whenever they see anyone of them nearby.

This eventually breaks the fight between Yeagerists vs Marley and Survey Corps. Mikasa, Hange, Theo took Azumabito and her mechanics towards the basement for their safety.

After hearing what Floch just said, Samuel pulls the trigger, shoots Armin in the face, and asks Connie to surrender. Else he will kill him as well.

Back in the basement, the Yeagerists kept attacking Mikasa, Hange, Theo, Azumabito and her mechanics with more explosives.

Reiner and Annie finally transformed into Armored and Female Titan and killed all the Yeagerists there to save Mikasa, Hange, Theo and Azumabito.

Elsewhere Armin had the Colossal Titan’s power. We see him healing and not dead yet.

Samuel orders Daz to blow up the boat, but Armin attacks Daz just after healing up to stop him, and Connie finally kills Samuel and Daz, their old buddies and is in tears afterwards.

Armin is saved. He and Connie managed to secure the boat. In the next episode, we will probably see the group flying towards Eren and the Founder to stop the rumbling.
