Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 25 Ending Explained: Did Survey Corps (Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Levi, Hange) members and Marley Military (Theo Magath, Pieck, Gabi, Reiner, Falco, Annie) Overcome their differences at the end of Episode 25?

Yes! at the end of Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 25, we saw Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Levi, Hange overcoming their differences with Theo Magath, Pieck, Gabi, Reiner, Falco, and Annie. Both the groups finally came to terms to stop Eren’s genocide.

Episode 25 starts with the recap of Hange’s discussion with Mikasa and Jean. Hange explains to Mikasa and Jean that they have sided with Marley’s stragglers to stop Eren’s genocide. But they need more people to join them. Also, they must require more powers from the nine titan shifters.

Mikasa agrees with Hange, and she says she will do her best to stop Eren’s genocide. But however Jean raises concern as if they try to stop Eren’s rumbling, their Paradis Island will be destroyed by Marley or some other nation in the future.

But Hange thinks if they stop Eren, Marley will still think Eren has the Founder’s powers, so for a few years, at least they will not try to attack Paradis for sure.

After their discussion, we come to the present time we see Mikasa, Armin, Jean, Connie, Levi, Hange, Theo Magath, Pieck, Gabi, Reiner, Falco, Yelena, Onyankopon and Annie discussing among themselves the plans.

However, as few of them were enemies so far so, eventually, the discussion soon turned into a debate where Theo Magath asked the Survey Corp members what changed their minds as they were the ones who tried to stop Theo Magath and the rest of the Marley Warrior unit soldiers when they tried to stop Eren coming in contact with Zeke. Now what made them change their mind? Because If Eren succeeds, they will get their ideal Paradis Island.

Hange replies to Theo Magath they do not want genocide which is Eren’s goal. If they were with Eren’s idea of freedom, they wouldn’t have been sitting here in the jungle and making stew for them and discussing the plans on how to stop Eren.

Theo savagely replies, “Finally, the devils got an idea of justice.”

This soon turns into another argument where Jean asks Theo why did he thinks they are the devils as first the attack were made by the Marleyans where countless people lost their lives, Eren saw his mother getting eaten by a Titan, and for that reason, only he had declared genocide against all the people outside Paradis.

Theo replies Marley was tyrannized and devastated by Eldia for 2000 years; the people of the Paradis have forgotten that the war was started by Eldians only, which was why they retaliated.

Jean asks Theo, “Are they still playing victim after 2000 years? It is like he is talking to children” Finally, Hange intervened in between and said none of them was alive 2000 years and the past is passed they do not know what happened at that time.

Now Annie asks questions to Mikasa and Armin. Annie asked Mikasa whether she would kill Eren? To that, Mikasa says there are other ways to stop Eren. Annie replies she knew Mikasa would say that and now ask her, “How did she think she could change the mind of someone who declared war on all of humanity and killing people in thousand every minute? “

Armin replies they will talk to Eren. Annie again says suppose Armin and Mikasa managed to speak to Eren, but if he refuses, will they do anything against Eren them? Annie also says she doesn’t think Armin and Mikasa would do anything against Eren as they do not believe him as their enemies.

Annie also says Mikasa can’t think of anything except Eren, and there is nothing more important to her than him. So she won’t be able to stop him anyway.

This enrages Mikasa, and she now takes away her sword. On the other hand, Annie takes out a niddle to transform into the Female Titan. Before the matters got out of hand, Theo Magath intervened and stopped Annie.

Annie says she wants to stop Eren from killing her father. If Mikasa can change Eren’s mind for good, that is alright. If she can’t, she should not be fighting with them.

What was the group’s plan? And What was Yelena’s backstory?

The group now plans to take the flying boat, which can identify Eren’s location and observe the rumbling there. According to Kiyuzumi Azumabito, that is the only way to stop the rumbling. But Theo says Azumabito had gone against them. Jean replies that they have got Yelena cause she can tell them where Eren has headed first.

Yelena refused to answer anything. Theo asks she must know of something cause the Yeagers must have planned something she knows about.

Yelena replies, why she should cooperate with Marley bas##d like Theo? Theo Magath replies cause you are too a Marley bas##d yourself.

Theo and Pieck further reveal that Yelena’s whole life has been based on lies. Since he had met Zeke, she pretended she was from a country annexed by Marley. She built her own story to develop a fairytale ending with her prince charming Zeke while piling lies to carve her place in history.

Yelena now tries to ignite a fight between the Marley Warrior Unit and the Survey corps again.

She began by saying, “Reiner Braun, how many eldians you have killed? Annie, how many scouts and civilians you have killed in Stohess? As of the Paradis Islanders, she asks Armin how many people he killed when he transformed himself into a colossal Titan and wreaked such havoc at the port? Yelena also takes a dig at Jean and asks him why he courageously fired Thunder’s spear at Falco while aiming at the Cart Titan? Lastly, Yelena asked Gabi why did she kill Sasha?

Jean says it is such a hypocrite of Yelena that she blew up her buddies’ heads off for her failed fantasy. It is such a shame that she now wants a death wish.

Yelena finally triggers one final ignition that starts a brawl between the group. Yelena says, what happened to Marco? Do you remember Reiner and Annie? Marco was one of the best friends of Jean.

Reiner and Annie say they had killed Marco because she had known about their secrets and heard a secret conversation between Reiner and Bertolt. So they had taken away his ODM gear so that a Titan could kill him.

Reiner says he had seen Marco getting eaten by the Titan. Later on, Reiner felt guilty and killed the Titan, which had eaten Marco. Reiner asks for forgiveness from Jean.

After hearing this as enraged, Jean attacked Reiner and started punching him hard, but Armin Connie intervened to stop him later on.

Gabi and Falco now plead with Jean, Mikasa, Armin, Connie to help them stop the rumbling.

Jean finally had a change of heart, and the following day they now decided to go to the port where they could find the ballon.

On the way, Jean asks for forgiveness from Gabi. Now the Cart Titan comes after scouting the port and reveals the Yeagerists have taken over the port, and they must figure out a plan to sneak in. Also, we see Floch, the new leader of the Yeagerists, has taken hostage of Kiyomi Azumabito as well.
