Boruto, Sarada, Mitsuki, Denki, Iwabe, and Metal had visited the Land of Waters during a trip from the academy. That time they encountered the deadly and fearsome Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist and fought them to help Kagura.

The Ninja Swordsmen were deadly criminals and murderers working under the directions of their leader. After the incident, Kagura and others stopped them and were sentenced to prison.

According to Kagura, three of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Buntan, Kyoho, have turned the sides and are now on the good side. They are serving their sentence in prison honourably.

Kagura trusts them and values them as his comrades. He transferred to the prison and served there as a warden so that they were appropriately treated. But, with these recent events, Boruto and others would doubt them.

Could any of them be the killer present on the ship? Or is it some other person who has infiltrated along with the hostages? Will Boruto and Kagura be able to figure it out before the team breaks apart?

Boruto Episode 237 Recap, Cut and Run.

Boruto Episode 237 was very exciting as Boruto, Kawaki, Kagura, and the Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist fought Tenma Funato, one of the son’s of Araumi Funato. They infiltrated the Funato Fortress and destroyed it.

The episode begins with Boruto, Kawaki, and Buntan investigating the Funato Fortress. They found the scientific Ninja Tool and planned to destroy them, but it is easier said than done. They break into the Fortress’s communication room.

They contacted Kagura and informed him that the Fortress was headed towards them. They asked him to contact Sarada and inform about the same. Sarada, too told Kagura that they had stolen a ship and were escaping with the hostages.

Suddenly, a small ship of Funato found Kagura and others in the ocean. They crashed their boat with the ship. Kagura and others received a brutal hit and lost their communications. Their ship was about to sink, and they headed towards the Fortress.

Kagura and the other infiltrated the Fortress and fought the shinobi from Funato. They managed to defeat them and catch up with Boruto, Kawaki, and Buntan. This attack also served as a distraction, and they were able to get closer to the Chakra cannon.

But unfortunately, Tenma Funato, one of the Son’s of Araumi Funato (Leader of the Funato Clan), arrived there. He is in charge of the Fortress and the strongest opponent they could face.

The Ninja Swordsmen charged in but were no match against Tenma. He defeated one of them in a single strike. Watching this, Kyoho lost control and attacked recklessly. He even charged into Boruto and Kawaki.

Kagura stopped him and decided to fight Tenma himself. He asked Boruto and Buntan to find a way and destroy the cannon before it could attack the ship carrying Sarada, Mitsuki and the others, along with the hostages escaped from the Funato Island.

Meanwhile, Kawaki joined Kagura to fight Tenma. Even their combined efforts were not enough to stop this beast, and they had a hard time stopping him. Tenma ordered his men to fire at the ship with the Chakra Cannon Scientific Ninja Tool.

Iwabe saw the attack coming and warned Denki and the others just in time. They changed the course of the ship and were saved from this powerful blast just by an inch. If they had been late even by a second, they would have all been dead now.

Boruto and Buntan teamed up and stopped the guards near a crane in the Funtan Fortress. Boruto operated the crane and tied it with the Scientific Ninja Tool Chakra Canon. While the soldiers prepared for another attack and charged the Chakra cannon, Kagura and Kawaki managed to keep Tenma busy.

Just as the cannon was about to fire, Boruto changed its direction with the crane, and the blast attack hit the Funato Fortress itself. It triggered a series of explosions, and the Funato Fortress was destroyed.

Taking advantage of the chaos, Boruto, Kawaki, Kagura, Buntan, along with the Ninja swordsmen, escaped the Fortress. They jumped in a lifeboat and escaped. Later they caught up with Sarada, Mitsuki, Denki, Iwabe, and Metal, who had escaped the Dotou Island along with hostages and are now headed towards the Land of Waters.

Denki, Iwabe, and Metal are shocked to see the Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist there and are suspicious about their intentions. But, Kagura and Boruto assure them that they are on our side and have helped them till now.

Now the combined team of Leaf Shinobi and the Ninja Swordsmen of the mist is headed towards the Hidden Leaf Village. They have successfully rescued Hostages and fought off the most dangerous criminals. They even managed to destroy their weapon and took down the entire Funato Fortress.
