In How I Met Your Father Season 1 Episode 7, we will watch the coming of age of the romantically linked couples who have grown much more mature in their relationships than they initially were. They have learnt to accept their partners as they are, along with their follies and their pasts.
In How I Met Your Father Season 1 Episode 7, we will find if Jesse, who yet again is left without a date, and is not exactly thrilled about it, is going to find his perfect girlfriend or not. After all, he wouldn’t want to attend Sid and Hannah’s marriage ceremony without a partner of his own.

How I Met Your Father Season 1 Episode 6 has been titled “Stacey“.
At the beginning of the episode, we find an older Sophie telling her son that being in a new relationship is great but the technological advancements back in the year 2022 was not without their drawbacks. She says that technology, namely the internet, has the ability to bring the past into the present, and everyone does have a past.

Sid and Hannah announce that they are considering Creation at Wickerfarm, a “hyper-local” hotel, as their wedding ceremony destination and spending the weekend there to check it out. They also add that they are allowed to take two guests with them.
To this, Jesse assumes that he will be one of the guests, but it turns out that Sid and Hannah have invited Sophie and Drew to be their guests. Jesse tries to take this sportingly, adding that he also has a new girlfriend named Mia and calls them Messy (Mia + Jesse).
Charlie, not remembering what everyone has ordered, serves them beer, and Sid, while wondering if hiring him was legal or not, hands over to Charlie his first paycheque nevertheless. A delighted Charlie announces a housewarming party for all of them.
Meanwhile, Hannah calls Sophie by the name of Stacey by mistake, and Drew confesses that Stacey was his ex-girlfriend. A visibly shaken Sophie tries to put up a brave face but later tries to stalk Stacey on the internet after finding her Instagram profile with the help of Valentina.

Drew claims that he is here for the first time, much to Sophie’s dismay. She checks the visitors’ book and finds a honeyed comment by Stacey and Drew, which she takes a photograph of.
Meanwhile, Sid, who has become very friendly with the hotel owner, discloses that getting himself into the medical college was out of parental pressure. His interests lay elsewhere. He often visited Pemberton’s, and when its owner suddenly died, Sid took a loan to buy the bar.
Hearing this reminds Hannah about the times Sid took big decisions without consulting her, who later confronts Sid for not taking her into confidence before taking such a big step.
The Housewarming Party by Charlie in How I Met Your Father Season 1 Episode 6
Soon enough, Charlie realises that his party will be a modest one, given his meagre paycheck, but he is determined to make a success out of this. His flatmate, Ellen, is helping him out.
Very soon, Valentina arrives, and so does Jesse with his girlfriend, Mia. Ellen is shocked to see Mia as her brother’s girlfriend as she had slept with her a few days ago.

Meanwhile, Charlie, who can now take no more of Valentina continuously bragging about her previous affairs, starts telling her about some of his own. He shows Valentina his passport, claiming that he has moved to several countries after a different girl each time!
Valentina is visibly angry at this revelation, and Mia then decides to be honest with her boyfriend and confesses her relationship with Ellen. Jesse, whose attachment with Mia is visibly superficial, breaks up with her.

Sophie and Drew come into the hotel room to consummate their relationship, where, to her horror, she finds that she has sent a message with the photograph with the caption bitch to Stacey instead of Valentina.
Panicking, she takes Drew’s phone and comes out of the room. She finds a message from Stacey on Drew’s phone calling her weird, and Sid points out that Drew has seen this message on his laptop.
Feeling quite embarrassed, Sophie finds Sid in the lobby, and they have a heart to heart chat. Sid has bought an apology Kit Kat for Hannah and suggests the same to Sophie.

Charlie turns up at Valentina’s place and burns his passport in front of her to prove his love. A visibly impressed Valentina too admits that she loves him.
Sophie and Drew, too, apologise to one another. Drew confesses that coming to this hotel with Stacey was an awful experience for him, with Stacey concentrating only on taking photographs which is why he didn’t mention this to Sophie.
All forgiven, Sophie and Drew proceed to consummate their relationship, the details of which Sophie’s embarrassed son refuses to hear.
