Are Upper Demon Moon 6 Gyutaro and Daki Dead? and Who Killed Gyutaro and Daki?

Yes! both Gytaro and Daki, The Upper Demon Moon 6, died at the hands of Tanjiro Kamado, Tengen Uzui, Zenitsu and Inosuke in the Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 10.

In Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 10, Tengen Uzui was still alive even though Gyutaro sliced off his right hand earlier in the fight.

In Episode 10, first, Gyutaro tortured Tanjiro by breaking both his fingers and then trashing him up.

Gyutaro planned to turn Tanjiro into a demon to become friends and kill other humans.

Tanjiro disagreed with Gyutaro, stabbed him with a Kunai, and tried to strike Gyutaro’s head with the swing of his nichirin sword.

This enraged Gyutaro, and he began attacking Tanjiro with his blood demon slashes.

Tanjiro, with two broken fingers, could not even hold his nichirin sword properly, and he was just about to get caught by Gyutaro’s sickle that time Tengen Uzui intervened.

Gyutaro was shocked to see Tengen Uzui back.

He thought about how Sound Hashira managed to stay alive even after slashing off his one hand and poisoning him in the earlier fight.

Then it is then revealed that Sound Hashira had used his muscles to stop the blood flow to his heart so that the poison doesn’t affect him, and then the big battle between Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui and Gyutaro started.

The visuals of the fight were spectacular, and the action sequences were fantastic.

In the fight, Tanjiro and Tengen’s combined effort ended Gyutaro.

First, Tengen used his Sound Breathing.

He used his superhuman musical score hearing abilities to understand the attacks Gyutaro and marched head-on to engage him in the fight.

The scenes in this particular part were beyond incredible.

As Tengen kept Gyutaro busy, Tanjiro used that time to land a blow on Gyutaro’s head.

His heart rate by that time was 200 BPM and temperature more than 39 degrees Celsius, so he unlocked his Demon Slayer Mark and put and decapitated Gyutaro’s head with his sword.

Elsewhere Daki was engaged in a fight with Zenitsu and Inosuke; this time, Zenitsu used his Thunder Breathing First form, Thunder Clap and Flash God Speed.

This attack was even faster and more deadly than the first form of Thunder Clap and Flash.

Even Daki was shocked to see the speed of attack Zenitsu had landed.

Plus, much to her surprise Inosuke who was previously stabbed in the chest by Gyutaro, also joined the fight.

He revealed that he was brought up in the rugged mountains, so such Poison sickle attacks don’t harm him.

Hence, as a result, both Insuke and Zenitsu, with their Beast Breathing and Thunder Clap and Flash God Speed, managed to decapitate Daki simultaneously as Gyutaro.

Therefore Upper Demon Moon 6 Gyutaro and Daki were defeated and died.

How did Gyutaro and Daki become demons? and Who turned Gyutaro and Daki into a demon?

In the Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc, we saw the complete backstory of Gyutaro and her sister Daki.

Gyutaro and Daki were born to a prostitute.

Gyutaro’s original name was Kirimise.

Because of Kirimise’s physical appearance and ugly face, Kirimise used to get bullied by many people.

Even his mother had tried to kill him since he was born.

Only after his sister’s Daki (Ume) birth did Gyutaro find his purpose and become protective of her.

Ume(Daki) was the opposite of Gyutaro; she was born beautiful. Gyutaro saw a goal in his life for the first time after his beautiful sister was born, and as he was good at fighting, he trained himself to be strong to protect her sister.

One bad day when he returned from his money laundering work, he noticed her sister Ume(Daki) was burned alive and was half dead.

The reason was that her sister Daki had stabbed a Samurai with a hairpin in the eye, and the Samurai, in turn, had burnt her alive.

But luckily, Daki was still breathing at the point when Kirimise reached his home.

Kirimise was devastated seeing his sister like this, and he just wanted his sister to be saved.

But the Samurai who tried to kill his sister attacked Kirimise as well.

From childhood, he has faced enough oppression, and this time he wanted to end all this.

So he stood up, jumped on top of the Samurai, and killed him with his Sickle.

Then Kirimise(Gyutaro) took his sister Ume(Daki) from door to door, pleading for help.

But nobody helped them then they came across the Upper Demon moon 2 Doma.

Doma saw the state of both Kirimise(Gyutaro) took his sister Ume(Daki), and he decided he would give them his demon blood so that both of them could be saved and then join the club of Twelve Kizuki (Twelve Upper Demon Moons).

Kirimise(Gyutaro) had no other option left, plus he had faced enough hate from the people.

He wanted revenge on every human being, so he took Doma’s blood. As a result, his sister Ume and Kirimise were turned into Demons. Eventually, Muzan gave his demon blood to them and named them Gyutaro and Daki.
