Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Finale Ending Explained: What is the backstory behind Gyutaro and Daki?
In Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc finale, we saw the complete backstory of Gyutaro and her sister Daki.
In the following episode, Gyutaro was born to a prostitute mother. His original name was Kirimise; because of his physical appearance and ugly face, Gyutaro used to be bullied by people even though his mother had tried to kill him since the day he was born.
Only after his sister’s Daki (Ume) birth did Gyutaro find his purpose and become protective of her. Ume(Daki) was precisely the opposite of Gyutaro; she was born beautiful. Gyutaro saw a goal in his life for the first time after his beautiful sister was born, and as he was good at fighting, he trained himself to be strong so that he could protect his sister.
One bad day when he returned from his money laundering work, he noticed her sister Ume(Daki) was burned alive and was half dead. The reason was her sister Daki had stabbed a Samurai with a hairpin in the eye, and for that reason, she was burnt alive.

Luckily Daki was still breathing at the point when Kirimise reached his home. Kirimise was devastated seeing his sister like this, and he just wanted his sister to be saved. But the Samurai who tried to kill his sister attacked Kirimise as well but enraged Kirimise was on his edge this time. From childhood he has faced enough oppression, and this time he wanted to end all this.
So he stood up and jumped on top of the Samurai and killed him with his Sickle. Then Kirimise(Gyutaro) took his sister Ume(Daki). He started pleading for help on his arms as her sister was already half-burnt. If she doesn’t receive any treatment now, she will die.
But nobody helped them then they came across the Upper Demon moon 2 Doma, Doma saw the state of both Kirimise(Gyutaro) took his sister Ume(Daki), and he decided he would give them his demon blood so that both of them could be saved and then join the club of Twelve Kizuki (Twelve Upper Demon Moons).
Kirimise(Gyutaro) had no other option left, plus he had faced enough hate from the people. Now he wanted to take revenge on every human being, so he decided to take Doma’s blood. As a result, his sister Ume and Kirimise were turned into Demon. Eventually, Muzan gave his demon blood to them as well and named them Gyutaro and Daki.
The finale episode was an emotional one for sure as we would saw how tough a life both Daki and Gyutaro had.
We also had seen both Gyutaro and Daki fighting at the start of the episode because they both lost to Sound Hashira Tengen, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Nezuko. Daki said some nasty things to Gyutaro and said such an ugly looking guy could never be her brother, and they can never be related by blood.
But, after the flashback scene, we see both of them meeting again in the afterlife where Daki apologised for her behaviour and cried and said sorry to her brother, she also said no matter wherever the reborn now, she will always want Gyutaro as her brother and finally after an emotional reunion both Gyutaro and Daki walk over the burning flame which represents the end of their life maybe they will see again reborn some other life as brother and sister.

Is Inouske and Tengen Uzui Alive? and What is Nezuko’s new Power?
Yes, both Inosuke and Tengen Uzui is alive. When Tanjiro and Nezuko found Inosuke, his heartbeat was low as Gyutaro stabbed him during the fight from behind.
But after Nezuko found Inosuke, she used her new Blood Demon technique, Pyrokinesis which allows her to generate pink-coloured flames, which is deadly for Demons but also at the same time works helpful to humans. She used that technique first to heal Inosuke and then Tengen Uzui as well Tengen was shocked to see how her body and tongue, which he couldn’t move earlier, is now functioning correctly.
Later on, Snake Pillar Demon Slayer Obanai Iguro also arrived on the Entertainment District Arc. Still, he saw the devastation, and he was shocked after hearing from Tengen that Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke and Zenitsu managed to stay alive even after such a deadly fight.
The news soon reached Kagaya Ubuyashiki, and he was also excited to hear that Tengen, Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inosuke had managed to defeat the Upper Demon Six.

Did we see Upper Demon Moon 3 Akaza at the ending scenes?
Yes, towards the ending of Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc, we saw Akaza being summoned in the Infinite Castle, where Lord Muzan only summons demons, when there is an emergency, judging by the fact that as Tanjiro, Tengen, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke has managed to defeat the upper demon moon 6 maybe the news, has reached to Muzan’s ears a and that is the reason why he has summoned Akaza.

What to Expect from Demon Slayer Season 3? Will arc will it be based on?
If this follows the manga, the Demon Slayer Season 3 will be based on the Sword Smith Village Arc where Tanjiro, Nezuko will reach the Sword Smith village. They will meet with the Genya Shinazugawa (brother of the Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa), Mitsuri Kanroji (Love Hashira), Muichiro Tokito (Mist Hashira). They will probably fight off with one of the most powerful Twelve Kizuki, the Upper-Rank Four, Hantengu.
