The Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui have recognized the determination of the young demon slayers, Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu. He trusts them and even accepts them as his Tsugoku (students trained by a Hashira).

Uzui is determined to protect them even at the cost of his own life, just like the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, whom he admired the most.

During the battle against Gyutaro, Uzui is still protecting Tanjiro from its attacks, and at the same time, Tanjiro is doing the same for him.

Tanjiro is blocking and deflecting all of Daki’s attacks and also helping Uzui to dodge the attacks in its blind spots.

In this upcoming episode, we might get a chance to see more about their epic combination attacks.

Now, Uzui’s wife Hinatsuru had launched an attack with special kunai knives (Shinobi ninja tools) from some distance, but Gyutaro deflected them with his blood demon art.

Taking the use of this opening, Uzui had attacked Gyutaro even at the cost of himself getting injured with Kunai. He got stuck with three of them, but he managed to distract Gyutaro.

A kunai hit Gyutaro in the neck, and it turns out that the Kunai knives had Wisteria Poison on them, due to which the Demon is paralysed for some time.

Tanjiro taking advantage of this opportunity, aims a strike at Gyutaro’s neck and is close to slicing it. But will Tanjiro be able to do it? Will he be able to kill the Upper Demon Moon Six Gyutaro? Or will Gyutaro overcome the effects of Wisteria Poison and manage to dodge Tanjiro’s attack?

One more interesting question is, Will Gyutaro die if Tanjiro cuts its neck off? There is a possibility that he might not.

Here is the reason, Uzui already suspects that to kill the Upper Demon Moon Six for good, they must cut Gyutaro and Daki’s necks at the same time.

Currently, Zenitsu and Inosuke are having a hard time against Daki. Her attacks have become faster and more powerful.

If Zenitsu and Inosuke did not defeat Daki, there is a possibility that Gyutaro might not die even after his neck is cut off. 

Things might go down very bad if Gyutaro manages to break free from the paralyzation caused due to Wisteria Poison. Gyutaro might attack Tanjiro, and this could become very difficult.

Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 8 Recap, the “Gathering”.

Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 8 was titled “Gathering” and was one of the most amazing episodes in the series to date.

Things have got very serious, and the battle against the Upper Demon Moon Six, Daki and Gyutaro have taken a very sharp turn.

The title “Gathering” signifies that all the demon slayers present in the Yoshikawa Entertainment District, Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, and the Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui, have finally gathered at the same place to fight against the Upper Demon Moon Six Daki and Gyutaro.

Tanjiro’s demon sister has now calmed down and returned to her original self as a small girl and is asleep. Tanjiro managed to stop her in time before she could devour any humans.

He also managed to put her to sleep, and now she is recovering the energy she spent during her battle with the Upper Demon Moon Six Daki.

Tanjiro put her back into the box and tied the strap that was cut. He was now ready for battle. On the other side, Uzui was facing against the Upper Demon Moon Six Daki and Gyutaro alone.

Uzui had already been scratched by Gyutaro’s attack on the forehead, and it turns out that Gyutaro uses poison with his blades.

Uzui had been poisoned, but he had not fallen apart. Gyutaro was shocked that his poison was not working, and then Uzui explained that he is a Ninja and comes from a Shinobi clan.

They have resistance to poison. It was believed that Shinobi had died in the Edo Period, but Uzui explained that there were still Shinobi alive and how he and his second youngest brother were the only survivors among the nine siblings.

But Uzui’s breathing became heavy, and the poison was beginning to take effect on his body. His high resistance to poison was buying him time. Gyutaro and Daki attacked him at the same time, but Uzui skillfully managed to dodge their attacks.

Uzui used small tiny bombs made up of special gunpowder that could damage the demons. The bombs exploded when they came across the tiniest bit of friction.

Daki carelessly attacked Uzui, but when she came in contact with uzui’s ninja bombs, they exploded, and a series of explosions tossed Daki’s head off again.

Seeing the explosion, Gyutaro skillfully dodged the bombs and was safe. Seeing an opening, Uzui managed to get near him and could slice off his neck, but Gyutaro pulled himself back.

Uzui extended the reach of his sword by holding the other twin sword by the end of its blade. This surprise attack worked, and Uzui managed to scratch Gyutaro’s neck. If Gyutaro had not pulled back, this would have been his end.

Gyutaro praises Uzui for his skills and says that he must be a special born since birth, but Uzui mocks him and says that this is a big world and there are people much stronger than himself.

Referring to the Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima, he calls him mysterious and referring to the Mist Hashira, Tokito, he says that there are people who managed to become hashira in just two months after learning swordsmanship.

Uzui also holds the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, in deep regard and is disappointed with himself for not being able to save many humans.

He recognises Rengoku’s strength and also admires him for the way he protected every single human, even at the cost of his life. He has promised himself that he will carry Rengoku’s legacy and take care of Tanjiro, Inosuke, and Zenitsu.

Just after that, Zenitsu and Inosuke join him on the battlefield. Tanjiro also jumps in from the other side in front of Uzui and is ready to face Gyutaro.

Uzui is impressed by their determination and character. They did not run away even with the battle against the Upper Demon Moon and have come to face the demon. Watching their flamboyant entry and character, he calls them his Tsugoku’s (students trained by a Hashira).

Daki is about to attack Uzui when Zenitsu blocks and deflects her attacks. With super speed and in a flash, he attacks her, and both of them breaks off through the roof to battle on the top of the building. Inosuke assures Uzui and Tanjiro that he and Zenitsu will take care of Daki while they must defeat Gyutaro.

The furious battle began both at the roof and on the ground. Daki developed a third eye on her forehead, which allowed her to share the vision with Gyutaro, and they could both help each other even from a far distance.

Daki used her attacks with her belt to attack Zenitsu and Inosuke at the same time, engaging with Tanjiro and Uzui.

Gyutaro was also able to use his blood sickles to attack Zenitsu and Inosuke while fighting Uzui. His attacks were more dangerous, and even a single attack was enough to slice off the body. Zenitsu and Inosuke had a hard time against their combined attacks and could not get near Daki.

Tanjiro blocked all the attacks which were aimed at Uzui in his blind spot. He supported Uzui in the best way he could while Uzui battled the Upper Demon Moon Six, Gyutaro.

The poison was taking its effect, and the longer the battle went, the lesser their chances of winning and thus, they must deal with it as soon as possible.

During the battle, Uzui’s wife, Hinatsuru, launched an attack from a distance and threw several Kunai towards Uzui and Gyutaro, fighting in close combat.

Gyutaro could not avoid all of them while fighting Uzui, but he thought that there might be some reason behind the attack, so he blocked them using his Blood Demon Art Rampant Arc Rampage!

He deflected all the kunai, but uzui found an opening and closed upon him. Three Kunai struck Uzui in his arms, but he did not stop. Gyutaro understood that Uzui was a shinobi and not a swordsman.

For a shinobi, the mission comes first, even at the cost of his life. Gyutaro tried to avoid Uzui’s attack and jumped, but Uzui managed to cut off its legs.

Gyutaro could not regenerate them as Uzui had Wisteria poison applied on his blades. One of the Kunai hit Gyutaro in the neck, and he was partially paralysed. The Kunai also had Wisteria Poison applied to them.

In mid-air, Tanjiro appeared out of nowhere and had his sword almost on Gyutaro’s neck but will he be able to finish him? Will Gyutaro manage to dodge even this attack? Will Gyutaro die like other demons if his neck is cut?

There is another possibility that he might not die as Daki is still alive.
