Navarro asks Marty and Wendy to broker a deal with the FBI, where he is granted immunity against prosecution. In return, Navarro offers to retire from the cartel. Marty agrees to arrange a meeting.

Elsewhere, Javi kills Sheriff Nix, who was investigating Helen’s disappearance. Javi asks Marty to dispose of the body and clean up any evidence at Helen’s house.

Wendy intends to gain more power for her family by using this money to bribe politicians. She even tries to persuade Senator Schafer to join the board of the family foundation.

What is the FBI deal in Ozark Season 4 Part 1?

Maya Miller explains to Navarro the details of the FBI deal on board his plane.

It so happens that the FBI wants Navarro to remain the cartel leader and also act as a double agent for the investigative agency. Though not happy with the deal, Navarro is forced to accept it.

Maya later arrests Navarro, which makes the agreement come to a nought. Marty and Wendy try to convince Javi that he needs to take up a similar deal with the FBI.

Javi, too, gets a similar offer from the FBI that he is to act as the head of the cartel and also work as an FBI informant at the same time.

However, the FBI’s ultimate plan is to arrest Javi, and the deal is an eyewash, just to keep him in their sight.
