A Recap of Euphoria Season 2 Episode 1
Euphoria Season 2 Episode 1 has been titled “Trying to Get to Heaven Before They Close the Door“.
Euphoria Season 2 Episode 1 begins with a flashback showing the traumatic childhood of Fez, whose grandmother had pulled him into the world of drug trafficking.
Cut to the present, and we find Rue snorting drugs at the back of Fez and Ash’s car as they head out to do some drug dealing with a dealer named Laurie.
Laurie has them all strip-searched as he suspects that they might be wearing wires, after which Fez manages to buy a suitcase full of drugs from Laurie.

It has Cassie breaking down in tears as she is ridden with guilt for having an affair with her best friend’s ex-boyfriend.
Cassie closes the shower curtain and hides in the bathtub while Maddy uses the restroom.
Elsewhere, Rue is seen to be in grave danger with her pulse rate dropping. On the verge of cardiac arrest, she is rescued by Elliot, who gives her adrenaline.
Meanwhile, the viewers get to see the confrontation between McKay, Cassie and Nate when Nate taunts McKay with the revelation that he is having an affair with Cassie.
Rue and Jules are reunited at the New year’s party and confess that they miss each other.
At the end of Euphoria Season 2 Episode 1, we find Fez taking revenge on Nate, who had called the authorities on Fez, because of which, Fez was forced to flush out all his stock of drugs. Fez punches Nate to the floor, leaving him unconscious.
