Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 starts with a bang with its Episode 17, ‘The Judgement’.

We first witness Hange founding Levi at the riverside; we know that in Episode 16, Levi and Zeke both fought one another after Zeke transformed all of Levi’s men into Titans as they consumed the wine, which had Zeke’s spinal fluid in it unknowingly.

When things got escalated, Levi had no other option but to kill all the Titans.

Later on, when he fought Beast Titan again, he managed to defeat Zeke again, dragged his body out of the woods, placed the thunder spear tip inside his stomach, and attached the fuse on his neck.

This was done so that even if Zeke tries to leave, he will blow him up. But we see later that Zeke pulls the plug of the Thunder spear, and Levi gets caught in the explosion, which results in his body being scorched and ends up on the side of the river bank where Hange finds him Episode 17.

Floch wants to kill Levi, but Hange tells Floch that Levi is already pretty much dead; Floch insists on checking Levi’s pulse, but Hange doesn’t let Floch check Levi’s pulse, then as soon as Hange finds an opening to leave the place. She jumped in the river with Levi’s body.

Those wondering whether Levi will still be alive in the series, let us inform you that there is nothing to worry about Levi’s chances of Surviving because, as per the manga Levi will survive but will live with permanent injuries for the rest of his life.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 17 Recap: What was Zeke’s Vision? Who was the girl in his Vision? Was It Ymir?

After the brutal fight between Eren and Zeke’s beast Titan, we saw Beast titan almost die fighting against Levi.

Later on, when the Titan, who was carrying Zeke, was also defeated by the hands of Levi, and in the next confrontation against Levi and Zeke, where Zeke pulled the pins of Thunder Spear, we see Levi sustaining deadly injuries. Still, Zeke emerges from the dead Titan’s body is fully healed.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 17 Ending Explained: The Big Battle between Eren vs Reiner, Pieck and Galliard

In Paradis now, Marley soldiers, Reiner, and Galliard attacked Paradis to get their revenge, and a massive fight breaks between Eren vs Reiner, Pieck and Galliard.

On the other hand, Mikasa, Armin and others are now caged, and they are trying to be free to decide whether they want to help Eren anymore.

We first witnessed the glimpse of Episode 16, where Gabi asked Pieck whether she was a traitor after all? But Pieck says she is not a traitor. She will not break the trust of people she cares about.

She also revealed she doesn’t trust Marley, and she only cares about the people she has fought alongside over the years.

As the fight breaks in, Marley now parachute soldiers to fight against Paradis, and they also parachute a new type of Turret canon, which is designed to kill Eren’sFounding Titan.

We saw Theo Magath, Gabi and Pieck chatting about the strategy as Pieck wore her new Turret canon. They discuss that Falco and other 300 soldiers are detained as they drank Zeke’s spinal fluid.

Pieck also says considering Founding Titan as their trump card, they haven’t used its powers because Eren doesn’t know how to activate it.

This time, Gabi recalls the moments in the ship where Zeke and Eren discussed they both now have royal blood and Founding Titan’s powers.

Pieck says they should not by any means let Zeke and Eren meet because if they meet, Eren will activate his Founding Titan’s powers.

As the fight breaks in between Eren’s Attack Titan vs Reiner and Galliard, we see both of them giving Eren a hard time.

Then Eren, for the first time in the series, uses the War Hammer Titan’s powers managed to cause significant damage to Beast and Jaw Titan.

Then comes Pieck with his new Turret canon. She causes significant damage to Eren. In the meantime, Reiner also frees himself from the War Hammer Titan’s spikes and tries to make Eren understand that everyone has suffered enough and tries to change his mind.

But Eren was not giving up; then Reiner plunges the War Hammer Titan’s spear on Eren, and Eren starts screaming. Will his scream now activate the founding Titan’s powers? But he needs to connect with Zeke(Royal Blood) for that? Will Zeke now arrive on the Battlefield? and What will happen to Eren now? Will he give up? or Mikasa Armin and the others now help Eren in the fight? Only Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 18 will answer these questions.

Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 17 Ending: Why did Onyankopon free Mikasa, Armin and the rest?

In Episode 17 of Attack on Titan Season 4, at the ending moments of episode 17, we see Onyankopon goes and free everyone.

Onyankopon never agreed with Yelena and Zeke’s plan, and he believed that the only way to grow is through diversity; we need all kinds of people to succeed.

On the other hand, after being free, Connie starts thrashing Onyankopon to know why he betrayed his friends; he had enough of this betrayal first Reiner, Bertolt, Annie, and now Eren. He hates Eren and can’t trust a word coming out of Connie’s mouth.

But Armin steps in and stops Connie, and gives Onyankopon a chance to explain himself. Onyankopon now explains that Yelena ordered them not to inform anyone about Zeke’s Euthanasia plan. Above all, they didn’t want to help Zeke and Yelena in that.

After listening to Onyankopon, Armin says he believes Onyankopon is telling the truth. After listening to him, Armin believes Onyankopon opposes Zeke’s Euthanasia plan and is a kind man.

Now Jean Kirstein says yes; he agrees with Onyankopon, but what will their plan now? Onyankopon replies by saying we should at least let the world witness the power of Rumbling so that the world can know how powerful Paradis is.

Armin now asks Mikasa what she will do? will she help Eren after what he said to her? to that Mikasa says

” I want to help him; I’m sure because I’m an Ackerman, just like Eren said, but it is not my own will.”

To that, Armin replies by saying Eren is not the kind of a guy who would agree with Zeke’s Euthanasia plan? And why would he do that? He only decided with Yelena because he had no other choice.

If he couldn’t agree to that, Yelena might have used different methods to persuade him, but Armin truly believes in Eren that he has something planned to end all this. He could protect the Island by showing the power of Rumbling, and people will not dare to the Island for the next 50 years.

As Eren now screams, we believe he will activate the Founding Titan’s powers in the next episode, and the fight will continue. Armin, Mikasa, Connie, Jean and Onyankopon will also join in the battle to help Eren.
