Who are the Yeagerists in Attack on Titan? and What is their Primary Goal?

Who are the Yeagerists? and What is their Primary goal in Attack on Titan? Well, if you are looking for an answer to these questions then you have landed on the right page.

Attack on Titan (Japanese: Shingeki no Kyojin), commonly referred to as “AOT” by fans, is a widespread Japanese series written and illustrated by Hajime Isayama.

Attack on Titan has been a significant media presence for a good number of years now, and the final chapter is about to end. With both the anime and the manga coming to an end, we have a little bit of catching up to do.

With only a few manga chapters left and a handful of episodes to be released, the fate of Eren Yeager has never been so uncertain. Attack on Titan’s final season was undoubtedly full of stunners.

The anime has kept us fanatics at the edge of our seats from the very first few episodes throwing us directly inside the Marley world with no alert to Eren’s intense change into some fierce messiah.

But one detail that is still somehow mysterious to the anime viewers is about to bring the entire story to a whole new level. Let me present: the Yeagerists.

The Top Strongest Characters of Attack On Titan Ranked

Attack on Titan: Who are the Yeagerists?

The Yeagerists are essentially a rebel faction consisting of a bunch of soldiers from the Survey Corps and civilians. The latter plead commitment to Eren Yeager and Zeke Yeager and plan to go on the offensive against Marley.

Their initial intent was to reunite Eren Yeager with his half-brother, Zeke Yeager, and create the “New Eldian Empire”, and help Eren activate The Rumbling.

The Rumbling was a cataclysmic event involving Karl Fritz’s Wall Titans treading across the earth, eliminating all life upon it. For over a century, it was a key deterrence aspect for the Subjects of Ymir on Paradis Island until the year when Eren Yeager unhardened the Walls, released the Wall Titans and began The Rumbling.

One of their most prominent members, who also acts as a sort of leader for the group, is Floch Forster. Introduced in Season 3 as the last survivor of Survey Corps’ Squad Klaus, Floch Forster has grown unhappy with the Royal Government.

The formation of the Yeagerists began when Eren confided in Floch Forster about his plan to use Zeke Yeager in order to get the power of the Founding Titan. Shortly after that, Flock began gathering the people in secret to help Eren with his plan.

What is the primary goal of the Yeagerists? and What is Zeke’s Euthanasia plan in Attack on Titan?

The Yeagerists wants Eren Yeager and Zeke Yeager to be the leaders due to their Titan powers and knowledge.

The Yeagerists believe that Eldia is on the verge of descent, and only they can save the island by committing themselves to Eren Yeager.

They don’t have any specific goals in their mind. They sided with the Yeager brothers because they were fed up with Paradis’s slow progress against Marley; hence, they decided to join their forces with the Yeager brothers after Eren’s Liberio attack was a huge success.

Most Yeagerists are sided with Zeke as they are behind Zeke’s euthanasia plan; Zeke’s ultimate goal is to sterilise all Eldians’ reproduction ability.

Zeke thinks this will only save the Eldians from discrimination and the world from the misuse of Titan powers.

Zeke believes the only way to end this war between Eldians and Paradis. is to take away the ability to produce from the Eldians. Therefore if Titan’s powers will no longer exist in the world, there will be no discrimination against the Eldians, and it will bring an end to this war so that the world will be saved.

And Zeke wants to achieve this by using Eren’s founding Titan’s power, but Eren is, however, is not onboarded with this plan, which we saw in Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 Episode 21.

Yelena is probably one of the most notable ‘Yeagerists’ members who believe Eren and Zeke to be true leaders. She thinks Eren and Zeke will be remembered for the next 100 years because of the powers they possess. It will not be wrong to assume that Yeagerists consider Yeager Brothers as Gods.
