Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 5 will be one of the best action sequences. Tanjiro will go all out against the Upper Demon Moon Rank Six. Will Tanjiro be able to defeat the demon?

As he said, “It is not a matter of if I can do it, I have to do it!”. Tanjiro is alone right now, and as it seems, Tengen Uzui, the sound hashira, is not in the Entertainment District. Tengen found out that his wife Hinatsuru had fallen ill and had left for Kirimise.

Tengen believes that if Hinatusuru is still alive, she would have some information about the demon which will help him pinpoint its location. He is headed towards Kirimise right now to search for his wife to ensure that she is safe and obtain some information to help save his other wife, Makio. Will Tengen’s absence be the reason for Tanjiro’s death?

At the same time, when Tanjiro was headed towards Ogimoto House to assist Inosuke to find the demon sensed the smell of the demon. When he checked it out, he found that the Upper Demon Moon Six was capturing the Oiran of Tokito House, the woman Tanjiro met just some time ago.

Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 4 Recap: What Happened in Episode 4? 

Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 4 was one of the best. It had marked the beginning of the action in the Entertainment District Arc. The first battle between Tanjiro and Upper-Rank Demon Moon Six.

The episode also had some funny moments as well as some surprises. Demon Slayer Entertainment District Arc Episode 4 was titled “Tonight”. It signified the night when the demon slayers found the demon of the Yoshiwara Entertainment District red-handed.

The Episode begins with Zenitsu being kidnapped. Zenitsu was investigating the Kyogoku House disguised as a girl named Zenko. After an encounter with the Oiran Warabihime, he went missing.

A lady informed the master of Kyogoku House that Zenko had been missing after leaving her in her room to rest. Also, the lady of the house was found dead a few two days before the incident.

The master knew that the Oiran Warabihime was responsible for both events, but he was too scared to do anything. He ordered the attendant to not speak about the topic again and asked the others to do the same to ensure their safety.

He ordered everyone to tell everyone that she had committed Ashinuke. Though everyone knew that this happened because Zenko got involved with Warabihime Oiran, nobody dared say anything. The master regrets that he cannot avenge his dead wife, the Lady of Kyogoku House, Omitsu.

Later on, Inosuke and Tanjiro meet on a roof to discuss their findings in their respective houses. Inosuke tells Tanjiro that there is a demon in his Ogimoto House and is sure of it. He tries to describe the incident and how the demon escaped from his clutches.

As they wait for Zenitsu to show up, Tengen appears right beside them. They were not even able to sense him before he had spoken. His skills are so advanced that he is almost undetectable. This might be because of his Ninja origin and training as well.

Uzui informs them that Zenitsu won’t come as he went missing last night. He asks them to leave the houses and save their own lives as they are low ranked demon slayers and would not hold up against an Upper-Rank Demon.

He had decided to complete this mission alone. He apologizes for bringing them in such danger even when they are not high ranked demon slayers. He leaves saying so and vanishes in the blink of an eye.

But Inosuke and Tanjiro will not give up on their friend so quickly. They must rescue Zenitsu at all costs and save Uzui’s wives. They decide to meet at the Ogimoto House at night and search for the demon.

Also, Inosuke explains to Tanjiro that they are Kanoe ranked. He speaks loudly, “Show me my ranking,” and flexes his arm. Then his rank appears on the back of his palm.

When he sees that Tanjiro is still confused, he adds that Wisteria Flower Engraving was done on the Wisteria Mountain after they passed the final selection.

This was proof that they were members of the Demon Slayer Corps. Tanjiro was too tired after the final selection and couldn’t remember any of it. But the way Inosuke convinces him is hilarious. The comedy, action, and incredible story makes it the best anime of all time.

Tanjiro leaves the Tokito House in the evening and informs the Oiran about the same. Oiran tells him that she knew that Tanjiro was a boy disguised in Tokito House. She had kept the secret as she thought that he might have his own reasons for the same.

She adds that she would be leaving the Tokito House tomorrow as she had been invited to become the lady of a master in some other place. She was happy that she would now settle in a new home.

After Tanjiro leaves for the Ogimoto House, he senses a sweet smell in his way. Tanjiro’s sense of smell is very advanced than most humans, and thus he was able to figure out that a demon was around.

When he reached the location, he found that a demon was absorbing the Oiran of Tokito House in its belt. The demon turned out to be Upper Demon Moon Six. Tanjiro understood that this demon was powerful than others and could capture anyone with his belt.

That’s why it was able to escape from Inosuke as it required a single crack enough to pass the thin belt to go from one place to other. Within a flash, the demon threw Tanjiro into another building.

Tanjiro’s body felt numb, and he seemed unable to find any strength. He could fear the demon’s immense power. Still, he stood up to fight against the demon so that he could save the Oiran.

With a single splash from the demon, he knew the power the demon had. The belt of the box that he carried Nezuko in broke, and Tanjiro hid it in the remains of the room that he crashed into. Knowing the danger that lay ahead, he asked Nezuko to not come out of the box and decided to fight the demon alone.

Tanjiro slashed through some of the demon’s belts fluidly using the fourth form of the Water Breathing Technique. His strikes were terrific and accurate. He managed to cut out the belt absorbing the Oiran from Tokito House.

But now Tanjiro has to face the Upper-Rank Demon alone. Will he be able to do it? Can he defeat the Upper Demon Moon Six alone?

At the same time, Tengen Uzui had entered the Kyogoku House. He reaches the master of the House and enquires about Zenko and Hinatsuru, his wife. The master says that Hinatsuru had fallen ill and left for Kirimise.

When he asks about whom he suspects for the death of the Lady of House and the disappearance of Zenko, the master fearfully replies that he suspects Warabihime Oiran. He tells Uzui the location of her room.

Uzui leaves the master and reaches Warabihime’s room. Finding that no one was there, he assumes that the demon had left to hunt humans as the sun had already set. He then decides to go to his wife, Hinatsuru.

If she were alive, he could get some helpful information from her. Also, he swore to kill the demon with his own hands. He left the Entertainment District. He might return to aid Tanjiro if he senses the demon or the battle taking place right now.
