What To Expect From Hellbound Season 2?

Hellbound Season 2 is likely to throw some light on the New Truth Society, the angels and monsters of this cult, and why they are serving these death sentences to random people.

New Truth Society is trying to project that they act on God’s orders and are punishing people for their sins against God.

However, the fact that their angel serves a death decree to a newly born child, who cannot sin, sees a shift in this belief.

Also, the fact that the baby survived the death blow while his parents died goes on to prove that their decree is not ineffaceable.

At the end of Hellbound Season 1, we also saw the burnt remains of Park Jeong-ja, played by Kim Shin-rok, whose death was announced by the New Truth Society four years earlier.

However, in the end, she was seen being resurrected, which means that the death from these monsters is not irreversible.

These events at the end of Hellbound Season 1 are bound to change the public perception of this religious group and will challenge its authority in Hellbound Season 2.

In Hellbound Season 2, we will be enlightened more about this cult, who are definitely not messengers of God but merely possess some supernatural powers.

They could instead be messengers of the devil, which might be disclosed in Hellbound Season 2.

A Recap of Hellbound Season 1

Hellbound is about a newly emerged religious cult, New Truth Society, who claim to be the representatives of God and have taken it upon themselves to punish the sinners.

They have supernatural abilities, and their angels serve decrees to random people, declaring their exact time of death.

Monstrous creatures appear at that particular time and date and blast that unlucky person to death while sending their soul to death.

Bae Yeong-jae, played by Park Jung-min, and Song So-hyun, played by Won Jin-A, are deeply shocked when their newly born son, Toughie, gets a visit by the angel and receives his death decree.

Desperate to save their baby’s life, the couple goes to the headquarter of New Truth Society, but this turns out to be a mistake.

The couple flees from there and takes shelter in the house of Dang Wook, a former member of the New Truth Society.

They are aided by Min Hye-jin, played by Kim Hyun-joo, an attorney who is distrustful of this cult.

Min asks the parents to live stream the happenings at the assigned time of death.

As the monsters appear to kill the baby at the assigned time, So-hyun and Yeong-jae shield the baby with their own bodies.

Due to this, the baby, Toughie, survives the attack while the parents are burnt to death.

Min takes the child under her care, and the driver of the cab she is traveling in assures to help her and the baby.

What is the Reality of Dong Wook, and What Happens to Him in Hellbound Season 1?

Dong Wook was one of the first supporters of the New Truth Society. He was also visited by an angel and was destined to die.

Though he provided shelter to Bae Yeong-jae and Song So-hyun, he actually compromised on the baby’s life to gain favor for himself within the cult.

He was supposed to die five minutes after the baby’s demonstration to cover up God’s mistake.

Dong Wook declares himself as the messiah and also tries to kill Yeong-jae.

Five minutes later, his demonstration takes place, and he is sent to hell.

Hellbound Season 1 Ending: Does Park Jeong-ja comes back to life?

The ending of Hellbound Season 1 takes place at the house where Park Jeong-ja had died four years ago.

The viewers find the box containing her remains exploding.

Her body is then pieced back together, and she comes back to life.

It could indicate that the deaths arranged by the monsters of this cult may not be a permanent event.
