Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 2 Episode 5 Recap.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 2 Episode 5 titled “Move Forward” ended with an awesome battle as Tanjiro and Inosuke defeated the Lower Demon Moon One, Enmu, who had merged with the Mugen Train.
Let’s see in detail what happened in Episode 5.
After Tanjiro fought the Demon and cut his head, he found out that it was not the real body of the Demon and that the Demon had merged with the Mugen Train.
Now he was one with the Train and could attack anyone from anywhere inside it.
Just when the Demon was about to attack, Inosuke woke up from his dream and started attacking the Demon.
He cut through the Demon’s attacks aimed at passengers who were still asleep in the compartment.
Nezuko also struggled to save the passengers in the Train, but only Tanjiro, Nezuko, and Inosuke couldn’t save everyone in all eight carriages.
Luckily, when Demon attacked Nezuko, Zenitsu woke up from his dream and saved her. He also promised that he would protect her at all costs.
With Zenitsu’s Lightning breathing technique, they stood a better chance against the Demon as his quick attacks could be countered with fast lightning attacks. Still, even Zenitsu cannot protect people from all eight carriages.
Fortunately, the Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku too woke up and landed a might blow on the Demon with a single strike.
It took more than a few moments for Enmu, even after being merged with the Train to recover from it.
In the meantime, he found Tanjiro and ordered him to see the Demon’s neck and slice it.
He informed them that even if Enmu has merged with the Train, he still has a weakness in his neck, and they must find it to defeat it.
Rengoku alone fought the Demon in five train compartments, leaving the other three to Nezuko and Zenitsu while Tanjiro and Insouke searched for Demon’s weak spot.
Using Inosuke’s Beast Breathing, they located the Demon’s presence to be highest in the Train’s engine and headed towards it.
As they neared the engine, Enmu attacked them to keep them away, but it was futile as they cut through it.

He used his blood demon art against Tanjiro and Insouke.
Still, they broke free from the dream as Tanjiro sliced his neck to wake up repeatedly, and the spell did not affect Inosuke as he always wore a Boar Mask, which prevented Enmu from finding his direction vision.
With great effort and combined attack, Tanjiro and Inosuke managed to land a final hit on Demon’s neck and slice it.

Kyojuro Rengoku, Zenitsu, and Nezuko managed to protect all of the 200 passengers on the Train.
None of the passengers suffered serious injury and were now free of Demon’s spell and woke up from their dreams.
But is this the end? Have they Won? Are all threats neutralized?
But, things don’t usually go as planned. Soon enough, the Upper Demon Moon Three of the Twelve Demon Moons of Demon King Muzan showed up.
He is too after Tanjiro Kamado and his sister Nezuko on Demon King’s orders.
Unlucky for him The Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku, is present there.
