Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 2 Episode 4 the “Insult” Recap.
Demon Slayer Episode 4, titled “Insult,” showed us the unwavering determination of Tanjiro as he repeatedly committed suicide in his dream to break free of it.
He was ready to sacrifice his own life to save the others on this train. His sense of justice and determination to save everyone and turn his sister back to humans are noteworthy. Let us see the episode in detail to find out more.
Tanjiro hears his father’s voice in his dream and understands that he must cut off his own neck and take his life with his own hands to break free from this dream. This requires a lot of courage, and the risks are pretty high, too, but Tanjiro did it.
Tanjiro slashed his neck with his sword splattering blood on the white snow. He woke up to reality and found his Demon sister Nezuko right beside him.
Tanjiro tried to wake everyone up, but it was all in vain. He figured out that he must cut off the ropes tied to everyone’s wrists, but he must not do it using his Nichirin blade.
He asks Nezuko to burn them using her Blood Demon Art, and she does so. The children who had entered the dreams of demon slayers to destroy their spiritual core also woke up.

Tanjiro comes to know that they are all sick and suffering from diseases. The Demon had deprived them of dreams and was using them. He also figures out that the Demon used the train ticket to put them to sleep.
The innocent children attack Tanjiro to fulfill their role, and the Demon could set them free. But Tanjiro knew better that this was all lies. When they attacked him, Tanjiro dodged their attacks and knocked them unconscious.
He smelled the Demon in front carriages of the train and left to attack him. He jumped to the train’s rooftop and moved forward towards the engine to find the Demon there.
The Demon is shocked to find out that someone has broken free of its dream. It expresses that it loves to show humans the happiest dreams and then show them the scariest nightmare before killing them.
The Demon is overjoyed to see that Tanjiro is the demon slayer wearing Hafuna earrings. The Demon King Muzan had asked the Demon to find and kill Tanjiro, but Tanjiro himself found his way to him.
He puts Tanjiro again into a dream, but to his surprise, Tanjiro is back to his senses after a second of time. He charges at the Demon with his water breathing technique to slice its neck off, but the Demon dodges it every time.
The Demon tries his hypnosis multiple times to put Tanjiro to sleep, but he breaks free of it every time. Then the Demon realizes that he has been falling under his spell every time but has been breaking free from it by committing Suicide.
His determination is worthy of appreciation. This shook the Demon to his very core as he never thought that a human could sacrifice his life so easily to save others.
When his tricks do not work, he plays a nasty trick. He puts Tanjiro in a dream where his family hates him and curses him for not being there when they were attacked. In his dream, everyone resents him for being the only survivor. This is the guilt Tanjiro has been living his all life with.

Tanjiro knows that his family would never say such things and is enraged to see the Demon Insulting their memory. He is furious with Demon for controlling small children, killing innocent people, and insulting the memory of his family.
Using the tenth form of Water Breathing, Tanjiro chops off the Demon’s head smoothly. Tanjiro feels this is too easy for a Lower Demon Moon One, and his suspicions are proved to be true.
The body which Tanjiro defeated was a fake one. The Demon had fused his original body with the train. This was just an extension, and the Demon now started attacking the passengers asleep inside the train with dangerous extensions coming from every point in it.
Will Tanjiro be able to protect more than 200 passengers all by himself? When will Inosuke, Zenitsu, and Rengoku wake up? How will Tanjiro defeat the Demon if he is one with the train itself?
Tanjiro rushes to the carriages to protect people and shouts at the top of his voice at the same time, asking Nezuko to do the same. Suddenly Inosuke arrives on the roof of a train tearing through it.
Nezuko had successfully awakened him. Tanjiro is relieved to see him. Inosuke uses the Fifth Fang of Beast Breathing, the Crazy Cutting! He slashes off the demons’ projections engulfing humans in that car of Train.
With Inosuke, things might get a bit easy, but when will Zenitsu and Rengoku wake up? Will Tanjiro and Inosuke be able to defeat the Demon on their own? How will they defend 200 passengers?
Will the Demon win? Watch Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba Season 2 Episode 5 “Move Forward” to find out. See how Tanjiro and Inosuke take on the Lower Demon Moon One and the might of Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku. Don’t miss this one out.
