American Rust Episode 7 Recap-What happened in the previous episode?
American Rust Episode 7 has been titled “Blue Mountains.”
The episode begins with the viewers getting a glimpse of Billy’s prison life, where he finds himself to be a target of the prison inmates.
He later finds himself being thrown into a big fight with an inmate in which he beats his opponent to a pulp, winning some respect as well as a can of beer from his cellmates.
Grace is questioned about her car burning incident. Harris tells her about his visit to Pittsburgh and Chuck’s death. Grace vows that they will bear it all together, and nobody will be able to hurt them anymore.
Harris visits Lee to gather some clue about whether any drug deal was being carried out at the mill that night, but this visit does not seem to make him any wiser.
He later talks to Tom and comes to know that Novick was his drug dealer, and currently, a new guy has turned up to take over this territory.
Harris also makes some investigation at Jackson’s pharmacy store, where he finds that not only does Jackson have a gun stashed away in his shop, he has also been using names of dead people, including Novick, to order fentanyl-based drugs.
Despite getting incriminating evidence against Jackson, Harris does not want to arrest him immediately.
He wants to use Jackson as a trap to get hold of the entire opioid network.
Lee asks Billy’s public defender to make her a part of the team.
Grace finds that Jelsey has hired someone to turn the workers’ opinions against her union.
