AMD Ryzen 7 5825U and Ryzen 5 5675U will be coming soon in the Barcelo lineup

The new AMD Ryzen 7 5825U and Ryzen 5 5675U are being named as the Barcelo chips.

These versions are going to be the refreshed versions of the Ryzen 5000 APU lineup.

The Barcelo lineup, which includes the AMD Ryzen 7 5825U and Ryzen 5 5675U, has been worked on a great deal. Just like them, the Luciene APUs have also been refreshed of their previous versions.

Because of the extra work that has been done on them, we will get to see a better clock rate and much better optimizations of various processes.

Just like the Barcelo and Lucienne lineup, another lineup also received a good upgrade. It is the Renoir lineup of chips.

The lineup of chips was also upgraded and was featured in the Ryzen 5000 lineup of processors.

All of them happened alongside the very new Cezanne chips.

Although Barcelo is actually a more recent or upgraded version of the Cezanne chips, it is still seen to be featured along with the Ryzen 5000 series of processors.

To put it all in simple words, the AMD Ryzen 500 lineup will be having a total of three APU families of the company- Barcelo, Lucienne, and Cezanne. Under Barcelo, we will also get to see the APUs- Ryzen 7 5825U & Ryzen 5 5675U.

These upgraded APUs by the company will be having eight cores, 16 threads, and RDNA 2 with GPU Spotted.

They are all running on Corsair Xenomorph AIO PC having the memory type- DDR5 4800.

We will get to see two SKUs in the Barcelo lineup.

Out of the two, the first one is the Ryzen 7 5825U APU.

This will come equipped with eight cores and sixteen threads.

The PRO part is the Ryzen 5 5675U. This will have six cores and twelve threads.

Currently, no details have been provided regarding the clock speeds.

But we can assure you that the clock speeds and the overall performance will be better than what was there previously.

There have been a lot of improvements, and the new system will be efficient as well.

We do not think that AMD has plans to refresh the Cezanne-H lineup.

The main reason as to why we feel this is because there are no roadmaps that have come up till now regarding those chips.

It is very unlikely to see these mainstream processors chips getting a form of upgrade in these times.

If we look at the features that the Barcelo APUs from AMD will provide, we will notice that they have been built based on the underlying format and architecture of the Cezanne lineup.

There will be the support of the Zen 3 cores, which was also there earlier.

Apart from this, there will be the support of the DDR4 and PCIe Gen 3.0.

The actual update which we will be able to see in the platform will be coming with Rembrandt.

In CES 2022, all of these new things will be brought in front of everyone. There was a leak of a Rembrandt chip, and now there are several reports about it already.

The APU lineup, which has just been leaked, has been going through a phase of mass production in recent times.
