You Season 4: What Can We Expect from the Upcoming Season 4?

Netflix released You Season 3 recently in its entirety, and the fans worldwide want to know when You Season 4 is going to be released.

In our previous article, we have discussed the complete ending of You Season 3, and in this article, we will discuss all the updates associated with the upcoming You Season 4. 

For those who don’t know yet, the show had already been renewed for a season 4 even before its premiere of season 3.

You Season 4 Release Date and Spoilers

Netflix announced You Season 4 on October 13, 2021.

Considering that Season 1 and Season 2 of You were premiered in the month of December, one can assume that You Season 4 will be premiered on or before December 2022.

Netflix aired You Season 3 on October 15, 2020.

You Season 3 has ten episodes of 50 minutes each, and all the episodes were released at the same time.

Who Can We Expect To See in You Season 4?

Penn Badgley portrays the role of the protagonist, Joe Goldberg, whose wife, Love Quinn, has been characterized by Victoria Pedretti(who would most probably not return for a fourth season as she dies at the end of the third season).

The supporting cast includes Tati Gabrielle (who plays Marienne), Dylan Arnold (who plays Theo), Ambyr Childers (who plays Candace Stone), Shalita Gant (who plays Sherry Conrad), Travis Van Winkle (who plays Cary Conrad), and Scott Speedman (who plays Matthew Engler) among others.

Besides the protagonist, Penn Badgley, we expect to see very little of the rest of the cast in You Season 4, as Joe is going to start afresh in this season.

Having killed his wife, Love Quinn, in You Season 3, we can expect to see Victoria Pedretti only in flashbacks.

Tati Gabrielle has made herself invisible in Season 3 for her safety, but Joe will leave no stones unturned to find her in You Season 4.

We can expect to see a host of new characters in You Season 4, in the new location where Joe has shifted.

What To Expect From You Season 4?

At the end of You Season 3, we see Love being killed in a contentious showdown between her and Joe.

Joe sets out to start life afresh after leaving his infant in the care of Dante and Lansing and burning down his house.

Joe chopped off two of his toes to fake his death and was last seen in Paris under the name Nick in You Season 3.

You Season 4 could be based on Caroline Kepnes’ 2021 thriller, “You Love Me.”

In You Season 4, we can expect to see this romantic serial killer in an entirely new location, trying again to find his new love.

In Season 3, Love reveals Joe’s true self to Marienne, and Marienne, fearing for the safety of her and her daughter Juliette, disappeared from the scene, changing all her contact details. Joe had vowed to search the world, if he has to, to find Marienne.

His search for Marienne is likely to continue in You Season 4.

Joe is very unlikely to get rid of his murderous antics.

One can just wonder when Joe is going to be apprehended by the authorities.

Whether the police are going to catch him in You Season 4 is something that all the fans are wondering about.

You is a psychological crime thriller series revolving around the romantic and psychopath serial killer, Joe Goldberg, whose all-consuming search for the perfect soulmate proves lethal, leaving behind a bloody trail.
