What To Expect From Only Murders in the Building Episode 10?
Only Murders in the Building Episode 10 has been titled “Open and Shut.”
Till now, it has definitely not been an “open and shut” case, but since Only Murders in the Building Episode 10 is the final episode of the season, things will start getting more explicit.
The penultimate episode ended in a massive cliffhanger. We have got a new prime suspect, and there is very little time left for the scriptwriters to introduce a new character who could be the prime suspect or the murderer, for that matter.
So, are we to suppose that the prime suspect is the murderer? Not just the murderer but also the motive of the murder will be explained in Only Murders in the Building Episode 10.

We hope nobody has forgotten the first scene of episode 1 when cops came storming into the Arconia building, and there was chaos everywhere.
Charles and Oliver decide that they can’t leave the building without Mabel and go to her apartment, where they find her covered in blood in front of a hooded dead body. It is also essential to notice that Jan was not accompanying Charles at that time.
After this scene, all the episodes of this season have been a flashback. So, there is a huge possibility that the first scene is from the present timeline, and the significance of this scene will be made clear in Only Murders in the Building Episode 10.
The episode might even begin with that scene, and the trio may also get arrested for the murder, which will make it even more difficult for them to crack the case.

Having lied to Charles, Jan seems to be a strong suspect, especially after her connection with Tim Kono has been established. One thing is for sure that Jan has more to her than what has been shown so far.
Also, there is a murderer in the building shooting, stabbing, and poisoning not only people but also animals. Until the identity of Tim Kono’s murderer is revealed, the trio’s lives are in grave danger.
Only Murders in the Building Episode 9 Recap: Do Oliver, Charles, and Mabel Get Evicted?
Only Murders in the Building Episode 9 has been titled “Double Time.”
The beginning of the penultimate episode shows Charles taking care of convalescing Jan, and we learn from their conversation that Jan has a concert the next day as the first chair bassoonist. It is when Charles’ old stunt double, Sezz Pataki, visits them.
Elsewhere, Oliver finds an eviction notice stuck at his door, and his door lock changed. Rendered homeless, he lands up at Charles’ place.
The trio releases a new episode of their podcast in which they retract their previous claim that the Dimases killed Tim Kono. However, they end the episode on a positive note, assuring the fans that a lot is yet to come.

The residents of Arconia are furious at the trio for spoiling the reputation of the building. They call for a meeting to discuss this matter, which the trio is asked to attend.
While Charles, Mabel, and Oliver attend the meeting, Pataki stays back to take care of Jan. In the meeting, with the residents’ consensus, Bunny hands over eviction notices to Charles and Mabel as well.
It gets Charles very upset, and he announces that he is quitting the podcast and even turns Oliver out of his apartment. Oliver later takes shelter in Mabel’s (her aunt’s) apartment.
Oliver and Mabel firmly believe that finding the murderer is now the only way to save themselves from homelessness.

On returning to Charles’ apartment from the meeting, they find Jan and Sezz in a compromising position, which makes Charles furious as Sezz has snatched Charles’ girlfriend in the past as well.
It turns out that Sezz was just changing Jan’s bandages. Though Charles apologizes, Jan leaves Charles’ apartment along with her belongings and asks him not to attend her concert the next day.
Only Murders in the Building Episode 8 Recap and Ending Explained
Only Murders in the Building Episode 9 Ending Explained: What is Jan Hiding?
Sezz tells Charles that she is sure that Jan is the one for Charles and that he must attend Jan’s concert. Meanwhile, Oliver and Mabel carry out their investigation.
They interview Tim’s next-door neighbor, Idoko, about Tim’s girlfriend. She says that though she has never seen Tim’s girlfriend, she has definitely heard her.

Oliver and Mabel again go through the s*x toys they had collected from Tim’s apartment. They find the brand name “Exotic Instruments” on the toys.
On further investigation, they find that Exotic Instruments sell musical instruments, and the equipment they thought of as a s*x toy is actually a bassoon cleaner.
Another shocker comes at the concert when Carles finds out that the first chair bassoonist is a young prodigy named Allison Tipton and not Jan. Shocked at Jan’s lie, Charles’ nose starts to bleed.
