With his goal, AFC Richmond scores second place and gets back to the Premier League. When the boys celebrate their victory at the locker room, we see Roy and Jamie putting behind their differences and hugging.

Later, at the press conference, Ted addresses the media and talks openly about his vulnerabilities. He notices that Trent Crimm is not present at the press conference.

Ted later discovers that Trent Crimm has been fired for disclosing his anonymous source, having made this revelation himself. He is now an independent reporter instead of working for The Independent.
