Demon Slayer Season 2 Episode 1: “Flame Hashira, Rengoku Kyojuro”

The first episode will be more of a recap from the previous season and also we will get to re-live some of the moments of Flame Hashira, we all know that the Flame Hashira, Kyojuro Rengoku died at the hands of Akaza in the Demon Slayer Mugan Train Movie.

We will first see Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke have finally completed their rehabilitation at the Insect Hashira, Shinobu Kocho’s palace, and are much stronger than before because they have mastered the Total Concentration Breathing Constant.

They now use the same technique as the Hashira’s and the great Master. This technique boosts their strength, increases their abilities manifolds, and makes their attacks more devastating for demons.

In the last episode of Demon Slayer Season 1, we witnessed some unexpected twists as the Demon King Kibutsuji Muzan killed almost all the members of the lower demon moons. The only one alive is Enmu; she survived because of her cunningness.

She was alive and received a considerable amount of Demon King’s blood as a reward, but will she be able to handle it? And as we can expect that she might handle it, will Tanjiro and others be able to defeat her?

To prove her loyalty and capability to Kibutsuji, she might be the demon behind the disappearances of Mugen Train. If that’s the case and Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke are headed to the same train, they might face each other. You don’t want to miss their confrontation.

Not to forget that the Flame Hashira was also on the same Train, and before he died he told Tanjiro that he can find more about his father’s technique in fire scrolls at his house. So we will surely see Tanjiro and his friends visiting Flame Hashira’s house.

What more can we expect in the Demon Slayer Season 2?

In Season 2, we can expect Tanjiro to gain more control and build his power with his Fire Dance Breathing God technique. Yes, it’s the same technique taught to him by his father in his childhood and the same one he used against the Lower Demon Moon Five. He might dwell more into the secret of this breathing style and might astound us with much more.

Not only Tanjiro, but we can also expect everyone to do more. The season itself begins with the presence of the mighty Hashira’s, so we can expect many incredible battles with them. Also, Hashira, the strongest of the Demon Slayer Corps, will fight the strongest of Demons, including the Upper Demon Moons or the Demon King, Kibutsuji Muzan himself.

Additionally, these battles won’t be easy, and will Demon Slayers be able to win all of them, or some members become martyrs while fulfilling their duty.

Daki here will be the secondary antagonist in the entertainment district arc. The main antagonist will be Gyutaro, one of the twelve Demon Moons members and shares a rank among the upper demon six.

It will be one of the major arcs of the series as in this season, we will witness Nezuko developing the demon marks as well, and Tanjiro will also unlock his Demon Slayer Mark.
