Boruto Naruto Next Generations Episode 219: Spoilers and What to Expect?
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 219 will be the end of this arc as with the death of Isshiki Otsusuki, Kawaki is no longer a Vessel.
But, as Boroshiki said to Kawaki, “Your body is almost wholly Otsusuki at this point. I can use you as my sacrifice to cultivate the Divine Tree. I’ll find the ten tails that Isshiki hid somewhere. I’ll feed you to it and claim its fruit”.
So this means that Kawaki might still be used as a Sacrifice for the Ten-Tails to transform it into the Divine Tree, which will yield chakra fruit.
In Episode 219, Boruto will have to use transportation ninjutsu using his Karma so that everyone can return to hidden leaf village as Boroshiki destroyed Sasuke’s Rinnegan.
Will Boruto be able to do it? Even if he manages to do it, will Momoshiki retake control over him? The answer to this lies ahead in the next episode.

One crucial detail that you must have missed is that Kara has not been defeated ultimately. The reason is that Code, another inner member of Kara, is still alive and is currently with the ten tails.
He is a strong enemy and one of the most trusted men of Jigen as he gave him the location and responsibility to guard ten tails. What will Code do when he gets to know about the events that happened? Did Isshiki had a backup plan?
If Code attacks hidden leaf village, what will happen? Naruto, Sasuke, and Kawaki have lost their abilities, and will they be enough to defend the village against Code? If Boruto has to fight Code, then Boroshiki might emerge again. What will happen then?
All these might happen in the future, but knowing exactly what happens will hold your excitement for upcoming episodes. Watch the next episode to know how they will return to Hidden Leaf Village and what will happen now as the two most powerful shinobi of the world have lost their powers.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 218 Recap: Death of Kurama and Defeat of Isshiki Otsusuki.
Boruto Episode 218 “Partners” begins with Kawaki showing up in front of Isshiki to prevent him from Killing Naruto. When Isshiki approaches him, he uses a fire-style flame bomb Jutsu against him.
As expected, it fails, and Isshiki gets him by the throat. He even plants a Karma on him, ruining all the efforts of Naruto and Sasuke. Isshiki’s time comes to an end, and his body begins to turn into dust.

But guess what, the Karma on Kawaki begins to vanish. Isshiki is shocked as the Karma disappears so does his only hope of Revival.
Before placing Karma on Kawaki, he even calls him a fool for surrendering himself to save Hokage but Kawaki replies. “I was empty, but he gave me a reason to live. A world without Lord Seventh has no worth to me.”

With Isshiki’s body turning to dust, Kawaki explains that he used Shadow Clone Jutsu taught to him by Naruto. Isshiki placed the Karma on Shadow Clone and thus has failed.
Kawaki tricked him, and Naruto’s words gave Kawaki strength. Soon enough, Isshiki has turned to dust, and with his death, one danger has passed away.
Sasuke and Kawaki gather around Naruto, who is exhausted by using Baryon Mode and afterward being attacked by Isshiki. Suddenly within a flash, Boruto comes in the scene and attacks Sasuke with a Kunai and burying it in his left eye, destroying his Rinnegan. Sasuke falls to the ground suffering from pain and loss of his eye by the sudden attack.

Much to everyone’s surprise, Momoshiki Otsusuki had taken over Boruto, and it was Boroshiki that attacked Sasuke. He even attacks Kawaki and hits him hard, burying the Kunai in Kawaki’s back.
Sasuke comes to his Rescue. He uses Lightning style Chidori and Amaterasu on Boroshiki, which he avoids. He does not absorb them through Karma.
Sasuke figures out that Boruto draining of his complete chakra is the trigger for Boroshiki’s manifestation. That’s the reason he is not absorbing chakra through Karma, as it will help Boruto revive and take control of his body. Sasuke and Kawaki plan to hit him with Fire-style Jutsu at point-blank range to make him absorb it.

Suddenly Sasuke is hit by Boroshiki’s vanishing Rasengan, and he attacks Kawaki to take him and feed to the ten tails as he is almost an Otsusuki and can be used as a sacrifice. Kawaki uses fire style on himself, and to save his sacrifice, Boroshiki absorbs it using Karma.
Boruto awakens and tries to regain control of his own body, and to do it; he breaks Momoshiki’s horn out of his head. With this, Boruto is in control of his body. He falls to the ground beside Kawaki, and they call each other “Brother.” Sasuke reaches out to Naruto to find him unconscious.
Is Kurama Dead? And How did he Die?
After being unconscious, Naruto wakes up to find himself with Kurama, it is all in his mind, and they share some emotional moments.
On finding himself there, he thinks he is going to die, and Kurama says: It seems our final moments are upon us. Naruto is calm about it and replies “Yeah! Looks like it. Though it’s sad that I couldn’t say goodbye to Himawari and Hinata. And even if I am not around, I don’t have to worry about Boruto and Kawaki anymore and they are practically like brothers.”
Kurama also tells Naruto about his talk with Kawaki when he decided to take care of Kawaki. He did not share the fact that they talked about Naruto’s past.
Kurama even compares Kawaki and Boruto to Naruto and Sasuke as they both were almost like brothers but at the same time motivate and spur each other to continue and grow together.

Naruto expresses how he always wanted a brother and how Kurama was always with him from his birth. They both considered each other more than brothers, and Kurama gets flashbacks of Naruto from birth to date.
How he has grown to become the best shinobi in the world. Even Kurama expresses his feelings to Naruto and how he had transformed Kurama from a mass of hatred back to being a noble being.
The love they share for each other is difficult to describe. It’s the ultimate bond of friendship that everyone wants in their life. The true friend with whom you share everything and who understands you well.
Now they together had defeated Isshiki, and Naruto imagined that he and Kurama had lived his complete life together right from birth and would die together.
Naruto and Kurama shared a substantial, hearty laugh that can fill anyone’s eyes with tears. But things are not always what they seem. Kurama informs him that he had the wrong idea and that Naruto won’t die, and also that he never lied to him in his life.
Kurama says to Naruto “If I’d told you at the get-go that the power came in an exchange of my life, you would’ve hesitated, Or worse opposed it outright even if you knew it was our only hope ‘cuz you’re annoying like that. This is farewell, Naruto.”
He also explains that when the Tailed beast is removed from Jinchuriki, they die but in a situation like this the tailed beast chakra fades away and Naruto will live.
Naruto finds it hard to believe and Kurama tells “The Price for Baryon Mode was my life, not your Naruto”.
Naruto is filled with tears and at a loss of words due to this shock and choked with emotions. Soon enough, Kurama fades away into white smoke while Naruto screams helplessly at him to stop it.

Before fading off Kurama spoke the last words to Naruto as “It’s almost time. I’ve got to go, but…be real careful. You won’t have superhuman strength anymore and I won’t be with you. If you overdo it, you’ll end up joining me in no time. But until that day comes, be well…Naruto.”
After this heartbreaking scene, Naruto wakes up screaming “Kuramaaa” to find himself surrounded by Boruto, Kawaki, and Sasuke.
Episode 218 separated the two “Partners” who had lived Naruto’s entire life practically together and had been the best part of Kurama’s life. Their epic journey, as seen from the series Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, is comparable to none.
