Netflix has finally released the trailer of Emily in Paris Season 2 after a long wait. Season 1 of the show ended on a note that left the viewers wanting to find out what happens next. With Emily beginning a relationship with Gabriel, things are bound to get very complicated between her and Camille. Fans of the series are very excited to find out how Emily deals with her love and work life while feeling out of place in the magical city of Paris. Fans can’t wait to watch her adventures once again in Emily in Paris Season 2.

Emily in Paris Season 2 Release Date: When Will It Release?

Emily in Paris Season 2 will be released on December 22, 2021, on Netflix. Netflix had organized a global fan event called TUDUM on Saturday, September 25, 2021, where it announced the release date and released the trailer of Emily in Paris season 2. Netflix has also shared several pictures on social media, marking the release of Emily in Paris Season 2.

Emily in Paris Season 2 will consist of ten episodes in total, with a duration of 30 minutes each. Releasing it on December 22 was a great move as the subscribers of Netflix will be having a sufficient amount of time to watch the new season during the Christmas holidays.

Netflix had announced the renewal of this popular show on November 11, 2020. However, the filming of Emily in Paris Season 2 had to face several delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The filming finally began on May 3, 2021, and ended on August 4, 2021. It has been shot in various cities in France, including Paris and Saint-Tropez.

Season one of the show was premiered on Netflix on October 2, 2020, and comprised ten episodes of duration 24 to 34 minutes each.

What To Expect From Emily in Paris Season 2?

The trailer of Emily in Paris Season 2 shows Emily on vacation and traveling around France with her friends, Camille and Mindy. It shows how the show will continue to mesmerize the audience with her visual appeal. Season 2 will also be filled with fun, drama, and excitement, with excellent fashion choices and bright visuals.

Season 1 ended with Emily getting into a relationship with Gabriel without letting Camille know about it. Emily in Paris Season 2 is expected to continue from where it left in the previous season.

The show’s creator, Darren Star, stated that Antoine does not seem like a very trustworthy person, and he might end up causing some trouble when he works with Season 2. Their restaurant deal is bound to cause some chaos in Emily in Paris Season 2. Emily’s relationship with Mathieu will also change in Emily in Paris Season 2.

Jeremy O. Harris will be cast as a fashion designer named Gregory Elliott Dupree in Emily in Paris Season 2. Lucien Lavinscount will be seen as a banker from London named Alfie, who will share Emily’s problem of not being able to speak French. Arnaud Binot will also be cast as a nightclub owner named Laurent G.. William Abadie has become a regular cast member in Emily in Paris Season 2, after being a recurring member in season 1.

Apart from the new cast members, all the main cast members of season 1 will be back in the new season. It will include Lily Collins as Emily Cooper, Camille Razat as Emily’s friend, Camille, Ashley Park as her best friend, Mindy Chen, Lucas Bravo and Charles Martins as two of her love interests, Gabriel and Mathieu Casault, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as her strict French boss Sylvie Grateau, Jean-Christophe Bouvet as Pierre Cadault, William Abadie as Antoine Lambert, Kate Walsh as Madeline Wheeler, Arnaud Viard as Paul Brossard, Samuel Arnold as Julien, and Bruno Gouery as Luc.

A Brief Recap of Emily in Paris Season 1

Emily in Paris Season 1 follows the life of an American girl, Emily Cooper, played by Lily Collins, who lands her dream job at a marketing firm in Paris. Though she is initially very excited about this new adventure, she realizes how difficult it is going to be for her after she reaches the City of Lights.

Her boyfriend, who is still in Chicago, breaks up with her, stating that he can’t deal with a long-distance relationship. Moreover, this issue is just the tip of the iceberg as she starts coming across more challenges.
