The Good Doctor is also available on Hulu, and the new episodes will also be streaming on Hulu a day after its release.
What To Expect From The Good Doctor Season 5?
In The Good Doctor Season 5, Dr. Shaun Murphy, played by Freddie Highmore, will be seen attending his cases, some of them being very challenging ones.
On the personal front, he will be seen getting ready to tie the knot. Lea, played by Paige Spara, proposes to Shaun in Guatemala, and he says yes. After returning home, they announce the big news to their colleagues and celebrate the event with an emotional engagement party.
Meanwhile, all the preparations for the wedding have had Lea completely overwhelmed. She is under a lot of pressure as she wants everything to be just perfect.
After coming out of a disastrous marriage, Lea’s concern is entirely justifiable. The Season 5 teaser even shows Lea having a panic attack in the middle of the night, with Shaun simply asking her if the wedding was still on, to which she replies yes.
However, on the wedding day, it is Shaun who panics and says sorry to Lea, who is looking stunning in her wedding gown. So, is the wedding ultimately going to happen or not is a big question that will be answered in The Good Doctor Season 5.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Season 5 will see Dr. Shaun treating some very challenging cases. He will have to make some very significant decisions, and once again, prove his disability.
Dr. Claire Bowen, played by Antonia Thomas, bade goodbye during The Good Doctor Season 4. However, in The Good Doctor Season 5, her role may be reprised.
Salen Morrison, played by Rachel Bay Jones, is a new character to be introduced in Season 5. She is not a doctor, and her role has been described as a brilliant person who sometimes poses real challenges to others.
