Out of these, Jimmy Herrod had been judging Sofia’s pick for the golden buzzer, while the World Taekwondo Demonstration Team was Terry Crews’ choice for the same.

Terry revealed that of these three, only two would remain at the Top 5 and can advance to the final round, one of them as the Instant Save and the other one as Judges’ Save.

Before more results could be announced, Ben Platt performed on stage the inspirational song, “You will be found,” from his upcoming movie, “Dear Evan Hansen.”

The next three contestants to be brought on stage to hear the results were Beyond Belief Dance Company, Gina Brillon, and Tory Vagasy. Terry announced that of the three, only Gina Brillon, a comedian, has made it to the finals.

Later on, the ten-year-old magician, Shoji, made an entry on the stage, who had been very popular among the audience during his audition on America’s Got Talent. It happened to be his birthday as well. So, as a special treat to him, champion Shin Lim was brought in to meet him.

Before the next set of results, there was a hilarious performance by the comedian Preacher Lawson. The audience and the judges just loved his performance and were impressed by his growth from a former finalist of the show in season 12 to being the host of a live show.

Next on the show, Aidan Bryant, Madilyn Bailey, and Korean Soul were brought forward by Terry. Of the three, the one to advance to the finals is Aidan Bryant, a teen aerialist.

Next to hear their fates were Peter Rosalita and Dustin Travella. Between the two, Dustin Travella was saved from elimination and moved to the finals because of his unique storytelling skills.

The fourth contestant to make it to the finals was Jimmie Herrod, whose entry to the finals was determined by the Instant Save vote.

Now, World Taekwondo Demonstration Team and Michael Winslow’s fates were in the hands of the judges. The Judges’ Save vote went to the World Taekwondo Demonstration Team, who won the fifth spot in the Grand Finale.
