Netflix has officially renewed Cobra Kai Season 5 even before the release of Cobra Kai Season 4. The Season 5 filming is all set to start in Atlanta by the end of 2021.
The news comes as no surprise as we all had known that Cobra Kai had multiple Emmy nominations earlier this year for multiple categories such as outstanding comedy series, Outstanding Sound Editing, Stunt Performance, and Sound Mixing for a Comedy.
Netflix had also stated about the release of Cobra Kai Season 4. So as per the update, we will have to wait for December 2021 for the 4th season. And it will pick up from where season 3 had left off.
In season 3, we saw Daniel and Johnny finally combining their dojo with taking on John Kreese (Martin Kove) at the All Valley Tournament.
This follow-up season 4 will be connected directly to Karate Kid Part 3 and will showcase the return of Kreese’s equally evil friend Terry Silver played by Thomas Ian Griffith.
The Filming of Cobra Kai Season 4 was completed in early 2021, and Cobra Kai boss Josh Heald had also stated about season 4.
He said the Cobra Kai team had developed one of the most epic storylines for the upcoming season.
As per Josh’s comments, the writers are developing a storyline that will give the fans a good feeling and guarantee that everyone watching Cobra Kai gets goosebumps, tears, and belly laughs.
Although their recipe for season 4 will be the same as before, it will come with a different taste, and it will be much bigger and better than its previous seasons.
The show has been top-rated among the fans from its first season, and if you haven’t watched a single episode of Cobra Kai, well, now is the time to catch up as there are still three months left for the release of season 4.
