Intel Arc series, which is the newly announced graphics card by the company, promises excellent performance for all its users. The brand new lineup will be the first generation of this new series by the company. We will be seeing these new graphics cards in the first quarter of 2022.
The Intel Arc graphics cards have also been given a codename, which is Alchemist. The cards will be designed based on the Intel Xe HPG microarchitecture. There are rumors that these cards will perform very well and have the capability of performance corresponding to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 cards.
The company has also mentioned that the Intel Arc series will come with further generations of graphics cards as well. The codenames of all the upcoming generations of gaming GPUs have also been decided. They would be Battleimage, Druid, and Celestial.
Intel had earlier come up with the DG1, which was built exclusively for all the system builders. The performance of the Intel DG1 was similar to that of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1030.
The high-performance Intel Arc series will be launching in the first quarter of 2022.
As of now, we do not have any further information about the Arc series of graphics cards. However, there is a trailer that has come up on the internet. This trailer tells us that the card will support all the latest features like the other top-end graphics cards.
The first feature would be AI Accelerated Super Sampling, which can give competition to AMD FidelityFX and Nvidia DLSS upscaling technologies. The second feature which we will be seeing is real-time ray tracing, which makes the graphics in the game reach a different level altogether.
Presently the world is facing a shortage of graphics cards, and if this continues till 2022, then the company will benefit from this a lot. The gamers would be looking for some sort of a graphics card for playing their games, and this is where the Intel Arc series can get good sales.
