Previously we had seen Pam, played by Charalayne Woodard, agree to the Cody boys for earning back the estate of Smurf. However, in order to do this, they will have to do their first task. This is to rob the skate park.
J wants the family to consider contesting the will that Smurf has left behind in court. However, Deran did not wish to listen to anything and told everyone to be prepared for the robbery. Deran will remind all the people to present there the reason as to why they have taken the job during a heated moment.
The promo that has come out for Animal Kingdom Season 5 Episode 6 shows Craig shouting out to Deran that the entire group makes the call and the important decisions and not just one single person.
Deran has been trying for a long time to remove J from the seat of the head of the family. He wants to take that position and make all the important decisions for everyone. We will see how Craig loses his cool on his younger brother and starts attacking him while the robbery is going on.

Craig will be seen joining hands with Frankie for making a business deal.
All three of them will have to do a major task, and there are high chances that the entire family might be suffering the outcomes of taking such risks.
There is no way in which Pope can carry on functioning in the way he is working presently. When he got to know that someone brutally murdered Angela, it made things go from bad to worse for him.
The viewers and fans of the show will definitely be missing Angela. However, the massive effect that her death has had on Pope is very upsetting. Pope had already lost way too much, and now this was not something that he was expecting.
The saddest part about it is that each and every woman who was involved with him has either left him or is no more. This thought kills him that he either cannot hold on to them or he could not protect anyone of them.
He always had the role of a protector since his childhood, but he could not fulfill his duties properly.
Pope will then be seen as he is at a loss by being on the part of making a very violent plan. He goes to the Desert in the hope that all the sadness in him will get fixed.
