Succession Season 3 – Everything You Need to Know About the Show on HBO?

Last Updated on July 29, 2021 by Joydeep Ghosh

After a brief period of 2 years, the Roy Family is back with Succession Season 3. This season too, will be packed with the dysfunctional and ultra-wealthy way of life of the individual members of the Roy family as it was in the last two seasons of the show. The show is an Emmy Award winner HBO drama, and the Succession Season 3 will pick up from the family drama from where it was left in season 2 of the show.

Till season 2, we saw the piling up of the disputes between the family members for their right over the WayStar RoyCo media conglomerate. We also saw Kendall Roy’s decision not to take responsibility for the fall for the WayStar Cruise misconduct scandal, and in fact, he believes his father is responsible for it turns out to be a turning point in the family dispute matter.

Succession Season 3 will pick up from here, and Logan Roy taking the lead to settle every scramble that has happened in order to secure familial, financial, and political alliances to the family. The third renewal of the show will come up with more family drama that fills the professional and personal life of the individual member also, with that we would have many new additions to the cast of the show.

Succession Season 3 Release Date: When Will It Release On HBO?

The makers of Succession Season 3 haven’t commented anything about the show’s release date as it can be predicted that the televisions’ most dastardly and blood-thirsty family drama show will make a comeback with the third season somewhere in the final months of 2021.

The first two seasons of the show were released in June and August in the respective years, but for Succession Season 3, it is hard to say anything about the exact date of release, but it is quite certain that the show will release by the end of this year.

Certainly, there might be a delay in the release of Succession Season 3 from the actual scheduled release date because of the shooting schedules getting delayed due to the pandemic. The shooting of the third season began in the last months of 2020, with the parts of the season being filmed in New York and Virginia. In June 2021, the show’s production team shifted to Italy to film the parts in this region.

Succession Season 3- What to Expect in This Season?

In this season of the show, it is quite certain that the family will be on the verge of a civil war. In the last season, we saw how Kendall Roy stepped down from his responsibility and later tried to blame his father for the WayStar cruise misconduct scandal.

Succession Season 3 will showcase Logan Roy in a very conservative role striving to save the family’s reputation from the controversy that is going among them. Logan, in this season, will try to secure financial, political, and familial alliances in order to fight the huge corporate battles if things later turn out to be ugly if there happens a civil war between the member of the family.

Here, if you see that there may be plenty of reasons for the all-out family civil war to take place, but one of the major ones would be Kendall’s stand of not owing the responsibility of the scandal may be a huge turning point story.

Succession Season 3 will also include everything we do not know about the ultra-wealthy royal families. It is not always the business and professional that goes around them. It is perhaps more than that the corporate giant’s family has many disputes amongst themselves, and that is what is beautifully depicted in this show.
