One Punch Man is one of the most famous Japanese Superhero Anime created by Artist ONE. It has a rating of 8.60 and 7.41 for seasons 1 and 2, respectively, on My Anime List. The series tells the story of protagonist Saitama who can defeat any opponent simply using a single punch. Defeating every opponent so easily using a single punch and lack of challenge drives his desire to find a worthy opponent, and he goes out of bounds to find a worthy rival.
Two seasons of the series have been released to date and have covered up to sixteen volumes of the original manga. The manga has more than seven volumes ready for anime adaptation, and many more are expected to come.
One Punch Man Recap: What happened in previous Seasons?
One Punch Man Season 1 was released in the year 2015, and season 2 was released in the year 2019 and comprised 12 episodes each.
In Season 1 of one punch man, we were introduced to Saitama’s unbelievable power that he obtained after three years of hard training. Soon he lost his will to fight as he was unbeatable, and no one was strong enough to challenge him. Later he finds a cyborg named Genos who accepts Saitama as his master. The season ended with exciting fights and comedy dialogues that make it fun to watch.
Saitama’s wishes finally come true in season 2, where he finds a strong opponent, A monster who hates superheroes and is known as Garou. To fight this strong opponent, he enrolls in a martial arts competition and trains with Genos for the competition.
In this season, we witness some exciting fights between some very strong opponents like Hero Gang, Genos, Garou, D4 Robot and Tank Top Master, etc. The season ended with awesome fights, and the next season can be expected as a continuation of this competition.
One Punch Man Season 3: Release Date and Where to Watch?
Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the release of season 3 was postponed and is now expected to be released by the end of the year 2021 or by early 2022. Previous seasons of One punch Man are available on Netflix as well as Hulu. The new upcoming season 3 will also be available on the same and in English as well as Japanese subtitles.
