Kang The Conqueror has finally been unleashed in the finale of the first season of Loki. His debut in this show did not take him long to create an impression among the fans. After the death of He Who Remains, played by Jonathan Majors, a variant of Kang has been busy maintaining the entire stability of the timeline. The finale of the first season of Loki shows the God of Mischief stuck in an alternate reality. The conqueror himself rules this alternate reality.
The season finale has left all the fans of the show with several questions in their minds about the future of Kang The Conqueror in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and television shows. The very important thing is the insight that Loki season 1 has provided regarding the character. He will undoubtedly play a significant role in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which will be releasing in 2023.
What will be the supervillain’s future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
During the latter half of the previous year, it was mentioned that Jonathan Majors would be playing the role of Kang The Conqueror in Quantumania. Since then, the fans have been thinking about the role of the villain in the film. We all have an idea from the comics about how strong this super-villain is, so making him appear for the first time in an Ant-man sequel seemed very odd. People expected him to be present in a bigger picture kind of a movie, something like Avengers 5, for example.
After appearing in the season finale of Loki, now it seems to be very clear for the audience why Kang The Conqueror will be seen in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Loki has also confirmed that he feels Kang is the strongest and most powerful time-traveler whom he has seen in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fighting him will not be an easy task because he can send himself back in time, rewrite the entire timeline, and return again.
The only way to fight toe-to-toe with the super-villain is by meeting him in a dimension that is free from the laws and constraints of time, like the Quantum Realm.
Kang The Conqueror and Ant-Man 3
The Avengers: Endgame has established the fact there is a Quantum Realm which is essential for time travel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Just like the Avengers traveled through time, even Kang The Conqueror is traveling through time. Now it becomes clear how the character is existing in the multiverse. We will be seeing him again in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
No one else can take on Kang in the Quantum Realm other than the Ant-Man or Scott Lang, played by Paul Rudd, Hope Van Dyne or the Wasp, Hank Pym, and Janet Van Dyne. All of them have immense knowledge about the Quantum Realm and are very much experienced in it as well.
However, we are not yet sure as to how Kang The Conqueror and the Ant-Man come face to face with each other in the Quantum Realm. The super-villain is being confirmed to appear next in 2023. However, we have no idea whether the Marvel Cinematic Universe will bring any surprises for its fans by bringing in Kang in any of the upcoming recent shows recently.
